I did my eyes today with the black paint pot(blackground) then applied Young punk over it and then used Gps as a liner. Then used ego as my hilighter. Very pretty. I'll do a different look tomorrow and post a pic

my find of a dupe for baby goth girl: uptempo plum from sally hansen's 'insta-dry' line of nail polish. Sally Hansen | Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color

even though the swatch on their site is plummy/purple, it dries to black with the pink shimmery bits.
i ran across this polish in walgreen's today after having just bought baby goth girl yesterday and painting my 16 year old's nails last night with it. i had swatched bgg on a couple of my nails, and yes i did a very low class move: in store swiping. the colors match.

I got the greasepaint stick have to test it out but looks like it is a much creamier version of shade sticks. If this doesn't crease I will be getting the other ones from Dsquared for sure. I swatched the MSE I want them but trying to hold back.

I'm so overly excited about my Style Black goodies that I can't even talk about it yet. I feel I may vomit.

It's like a kid after a Halloween haul chowing down on candy non-stop for an hour before the sugar-coma kicks in.

I'll report back when my excitement level has reached a safe point.

ok now my own personal review of things for which i handed over more money. my trip to the local counter was not as eventful as some i read here

but i had not been there in a while and was pleased to see one of my favorite mua's had moved back to my store. i was there right at 12pm, so i'll be interested to stop by this weekend and see if things have sold out as i'm reading other people's counters have. (i'm nosey that way)

a little aside about mes and me:ever since i had it hammered into my brain by my fave mac mua to use mes wet, i don't hate them anymore. i bought ALL of the very first launch of mes when they first came out a few years ago, and had left them untouched because i thought they were horrible. i had given them all to my daughter when my mua insisted i had to try them wet. i whined that i don't want to do that extra step, i'm lazy. so i showed my daughter how to use them with a wet brush, and then i wanted them back! (i did not get them back by the way)

so, anyway....i bought all but the blue mes from this collection. (i just dont like blue on mine or my daughters eyes...'80's postraumatic blue eyeshadow disorder i guess). gilt by association is for me, the other two for my daughter. they are gorgeous and while to say there is no fallout would be a lie, the fallout is much less than on those original mes from the few years ago.

i'm wearing seriously hip on my nails now. from a little ways away it does just read 'black'. but when i look at my nails, i can see the cute gold shimmer. love it! baby goth girl on my daughter's nails is the same except of course with the pinky/purple shimmers, perfect for her.

i did get a volcanic ash exfoliator (put away until i ever finish using the tub of vae i still have from original launch).
i like the way the volcanic mask made my skin feel. i have oily but no longer acne prone skin. my only complaint at this point is i wish they could have given it a better scent, or a scent at all. it sort of smells plasticy, i mixed in a little of another face mask i have so it would smell pleasant.

my greasepaint stick i've only applied on my hand, and i'd have to assume i will like it. it's not an exciting item to me, as i have several/many black eyeliners. i will use it, don't think i feel a need to run out and have 12 backups...at this moment.

in conclusion, it was nice to have an i just bought some new mac high. my counter still had the naked honey perfume tester out, and i spritzed myself in it as i was paying. it was pretty as i sniffed it right out of the bottle, but it is TOO strong and i perfume-headached afterward.

I just got back from the mall, and while i was there of course i had to stop by and look at Style Black! I have to say, i might lose my MES virginity this weekend , im so glad i waited until i found one i really loved! lol

I think i might go back for Cinderfella and possibly the gold one.

The GPS was okay to me, nothing too special. Im still on the fence about the glimmerglasses though. Who knows.

And I caught the enabling you were doing about Baby Goth. You are definitely picking up bad habits around here.

I can't wait to hear you gush.

This collection is delivering the goods, so far.
There doesn't seem to be as many complaints as in ColorCraft and MakeupArt.

I need to do a look with Cinderfella MES and GPS this weekend. I hope it's as nice as Young Punk
