The MA at the Soho Pro Store said I was their first customer through the door to buy it. Yeah! " The early bird catches the worm" and all that...just couldn't wait much longer. I got Young Punk, Gilt By Association, Seriously Hip & Baby Goth Girl. I was going to get the greasepaint stick, then had a change of mind, not sure why. I might go back for it or maybe get the purple one from the DSquared collection. Anyway, I'm a happy bunny now.

I have to admit, I wasn't all that crazy about the VAE. But now I am in LOVE! This exfoliator is slowing growing on me. At first, I hated the smell, then I started getting used to it, now I actually am "liking" it just a little more lol. Maybe I'll grow to love the smell, too, who knows lol. But this exf. is AWESOME. The ONLY negative I have about it (and don't think this will change) is that the smells stays on my face even after I wash it off. It doesn't really mix well with the scents of my moisturizer and serum. But it's not an everyday exf. so I don't mind. I gotta go and get more of these........
My counter still has the VAE but no more of the VATM
. I was PISSED, I called yesterday to see if they had any in stock, and the MA said yes. I was all excited and asked her if she could put it on hold for me until today. She said she could only put it on hold for a couple hours, not until today, but assured me there would be enough in stock. Well guess what, I just came back from the mall- AND THEY WERE SOLD OUT
. I thought you could keep things on hold for 24hrs???? And the MA I spoke to today told me that was their 2nd shipment and that they weren't getting anymore. Now I'm here (like a psychotic addict) waiting for the MAC site to bring them back in stock!
I swear I had a dream last night about this. I dreamt that I woke up late and ran to my comp to see if they were back, and they were. As soon as I hit the submit button, they got sold out. I really hope this doesnt happen hahahaha.
Tish, you were trying to talk me into buying more than the 6 backups I wanted since I love that stuff so much, and I'm having trouble even getting ONE backup. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about that lol

The mask is really nice, but I like exfoliator more. I hope they will make both of these product perm! I refuse to buy backups of it.

I tried it again last night with wet face and hands this time. lol And it worked! My face was HOT finaly!

VAE is the bomb!
I love how it's sugar crystal in there that acts like a scrub as opposed to nut shells, sand or things of that nature found in a a typical exfoliator. I found it to be much less abrasive because the sugar dissolves eventually and yet it still gives you ample time to massage it in before dissolving. And a little goes a long way. I'm guessing I use about 2.5ml each time and I plan on using it twice a week which would mean each tube's gonna last me 5 months. So really it's not that expensive.
My friend who bought the VAE upon my recommendation also said this is by far the best and that it puts her other HG exfoliators to shame. According to her this is the only exfoliator that actually removes the tiny bumps on her face and that the VAE leaves her skin silky smooth (which I have also experienced). I have a feeling she's going to get some back-ups as well.
So far I've only used the VAE & VATM twice and personally the VAE has worked better for my skin in terms of making my face feeling really soft. Unlike other exfoliators I've tried in the past this stuff doesn't dry out my skin. I wish I like the mask more than I do because I really like the heating sensation it gives but I have to say it has broke me out slightly around my T zone area and I've actually noticed more blackheads appearing the day after I used it and I usually have little of those problems. I'm not sure if it creates more blackheads per se....maybe it has just allowed the impurities to surface at a faster pace. Hopefully this is the case and that it'll clear out my skin eventually. I'm trying to give it the benefit of the doubt.
But as with any skincare product or any product for that matter, what works for me might not work for you and vice versa, you really have to test it out yourself to know which works better for yourself.

I have tried TONS of exfoliators, and while I really like this and would continue to buy more if it is made perm, I still LOVE Fresh's Sugar Face Polish more. If you think you get silky smooth skin with the VAE, you should try this baby lol. It's just a bit pricey ($55). As far as exfoliators go, the Sugar Face Polish is my number one, follwed by VAE. Now that I found VAE, I think I will be using that one more since it is cheaper than the sugar polish. The VAE is the next best thing. But the sugar polish is AMMMMAAAAZZZINGGG in the winter. When my skin gets dry in the winter, I will definitely use the sugar polish more than the VAE. The VAE is just good to have cuz it's cheaper and works ALMOST as good lol

Well, I didn't get my Style Black today, because almost every product was SOLD OUT!!! ARGH! I can't believe it, I was there few hours later when the shop opened and everything I saw was sold out-stickers.
Just like with Makeup art collection! Only thing left was the GPS and that I wasn't even planning to get. Then in my little misery I thought I don't want to leave empty handed, so I bought the f*king greasepaint stick. It better rock my world! Should I be there in the morning waiting them to open or what? How is this possible?
If this is not enough, I was so shocked that I forgot to buy feline (dsquared was released also today). Not my Mac-day.

I'm kind of disappointed but somewhat happy at the same time that the mask may not work for me....means I can just focus on backing up the VAE
. I'm stalking on the site to see when these face products are back in stock. I'm guessing MAC is trying to mass produce it this time around so it doesn't run out in a matter of hours again.

I had bumps on my face from that apricot scrub like you wouldn't believe. No other product did that to me before. You DEF have to try the sugar polish it's to die for. I just wish it wasn't so expensive lol. But it DOES work it's magic though.
