Just like with Makeup art collection! Only thing left was the GPS and that I wasn't even planning to get. Then in my little misery I thought I don't want to leave empty handed, so I bought the f*king greasepaint stick. It better rock my world!

I know I'm a little late for this but that is f*cking gold!!! The things we do when in a MAC store/counter

SB isn't released in Oz til Monday and I'm getting in Monday night after work. I'm not worried about stuff being sold out, I think we don't have as many addicts here as the states and that's the way I like it, no rush for the counters

Plus I have a CP with a very lovely specktrette!

So I'd call in to order if I were you, girls!

Thanks for this just given them a ring and ordered yay!! Could have ordered dazzleglass cremes and Dsquared too.

I know I'm a little late jumping on the Style Black bandwagon lol! But, I just wanted to share my thoughts. When I first heard about this collection, I wasn't super excited because I have never been a fan of the mineral shadows & when I heard the word "Greasepaint Stick" I thought, the last thing I need is to put something greasy on my oily lids lol! Well, after this collection came out & I really got a chance to play with all of it I was very pleasantly surprised! The Greasepaint sticks are amazing! I love that you can smudge them all around when you first apply them, but once they set those sucks don't budge! And the mineral shadows are the best I have ever worked with! Very minimal fall out, they are easy to blend & what you see in the container, is really what you get on your eyes! Those are definitely my two favorite products from the collection. The black lipsticks are hot, but Night Violet is definitely the more everyday wearable color. Now, nobody shoot me with what I am about to say, the skincare to me is just alright. The VAE is nice, but I feel that the Microfine Refinisher is a much better scrub & gives my skin better results. The VATM is pretty cool, I love how it heats up on the skin. But, I felt like it left my skin feeling oily & not totally clean. Just my personal opinion, nobody throw rocks at me lol! But as far as the rest of the collection

Ok I'm back from my counter! I was surprised to see all 3 collections (Style Black, DSquared, Dazzleglass Cremes) being released at the same time.
blink.gif
It was definitely very overwhelming and that means I'll need to skip most of them.
th_crazy2.gif

This is what I hauled
mac_haul.gif

- Blue Flame
- Young Punk
- Seriously Hip
- Baby Goth Girl
- Black grease paint stick

I'll be going back for the other 2 MES... They are all gorgeous!
love.gif
The GPS really brings out the color and glitters in the MES, I recommend getting the GPS if you're gonna get the MES.

The black lipsticks are interesting, but I know for sure it's something I won't wear out, so I'm not sure if I should get them. I might get the black l/g instead, it's more wearable.

Night Violet, not sure about this one... I suppose I can carry it off, but not sure if I'll wear it often enough to justify buying it. Some people compared it to Rebel, IMO it's not similar to Rebel at all. I swatched both side by side, and Rebel is a much brighter fuchsia-purple while Night Violet is a darkened blackish purple.

Glosses were nice but sheer. The most unique one was the one with the greenish shimmer (can't remember the name).

No facial products were present. I guess they're really not coming here after all. Stocks are selling out really really fast, so go check out this collection asap!

Finally I had money to buy something, lol
I got:
Blue Flame
Young Punk
Black Grease stick

I used Young punk w/o any black base and on top of the crease I used Falling star e/s and it looked very pretty, the glitter looked very subtle, more of a day look,I think?

The pictures do not to the red justice! I had to leave a touch a blonde in there, I can never stray too far from that!

it's like my brain says MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE until i totally regret spending WAY too much..

it really is an addiction, cos its never enough, i always want more, but then when i realise how much i spend i feel guilty and when i come back from my mac counter, i always show my bf like 4-5 things i bought, and hide the rest so he doesnt realise how much i actually bought!

I too have used SO many exfoliators! Fresh's Sugar Face Polish is really nice (not fantastic for me, but nice!). Before finding the VAE, my #1 choice was Kate Somerville's Exfolikate. Wonderful product that does both physical and enzyme exfoliation...but talk about expensive!! It's $85 for 2 oz or $175 for the "jumbo" 5 oz size.

When I found the VAE I couldn't believe the price point! It's now my favorite exfoliator and I'm just waiting for the day they make it perm. I made another trip to find more and now have 1 in use and 9 backups...and I think I want more!
