I totally caved today and bought the VAE. I couldn't help myself after hearing all of the raves (enablers
)! I have a feeling that I will love it and won't regret purchasing it. I just hope that MAC re-releases it soon so I don't have to be without it for long!

Really? These are the first MES that actually caught my attention and made me buy them. I do think that they look better when they are applied wet though, im very glad i got the two that i did.
What color was inter-view?

I saw the swatches on here, and I thought they looked ahmazing with fix+ , but still, I didn'y wanna chance it, what looks good on someone else doesn't mean will look right one me
I must admit, those greasepaint sticks caught my eye, I like the feeling of it over my NYX jumbo pencils

Okay. I decided to get the mask and exfoliator. When I will actually get off my ass and go out to find them, no idea, but I at least made some sort of decision concerning this collection.
I know I wouldn't use any of the MES or lipsticks, and only paint my toes, so it would be a waste for me to buy anything other than the face stuff.
Glad everyone else is enjoying their hauls though! d(^_^)b

I played with my Style Black last weekend and here is what I come up with

I love the VAE, it's my second one, had to get the first one off of ebay when it first came out last summer. So glad that they changed the packaging. The ASTM, I still need to use more of to see if I really like it or not. I've only used it once so far and the heat feels pretty nice.
I only got the mask and scrub, seeing that the other things were products I'd only use maybe once or twice. I reserved the two products I got on thurs. the first day of the release, and went back on mon. to find out they only had one VAE left and 3 of the VATM. Snatched up the last VAE for my sister-in-laws to try. Probably in the bigger cities they sold out in either a day or two, but here the mask sold out in 5 days upon release. I LOVE the MAC stand near me, only wish that it was an actual store so I could get some of the things that the stands don't sell, like the palettes and some of the exclusive collections.

Le sigh, I LOVE the VAE & VATM. Why oh why could I not leave well enough alone? WHY? Now I need at least 4 more (prob 5) of each one. My fss still had plenty when I went in today. I'm calling them when they open to get more. Like a junkie. Thanks mac, thanks.

I think i will need a back-up of the GPS. It's now been close to 10 hours that i've had it on, and it's only faded a little bit but still mostly there without having moved on me at all. Since i lined my eyes thicker than i normally do, i only used butternutty ss with it and it was a really quick, easy eye, which is good for work.
Oh, and I caved and got Baby Goth Girl polish!

Interview MES is like nice store bought chocolate. It's fine for the moment because it's accessible and an everyday type of thing.
Style Black MES is like going to Godiva, it's rich and decadent, to be appreciated on a hot Friday, Saturday night when you want to sparkle and want the best that is offered.

Agreed!! Plus I can't get pass the strip in the middle on thise MES I truly hate that strip of meaningless glitter

I may have found a drugstore option for VAE. Today I found Giovanni Organics D:Tox line. The exfolliator is labeled as a "body scrub" but I found it was indeed gentle enough to use on the face (and I have sensitive/reactive skin with rosacea). It is a sugar scrub with volcanic ash and activated charcoal as well as some various antioxidants whose names escape me and I am too damned lazy to go downstairs to the bathroom and look.
I got a huge tube on sale for $7.99 (regular price $10).
