MAC - Style Black Discussion

Ok i just got my MES in the mail but it SPINS!
Its not cracked or anything, the pan of the e/s moves around when you want to pick up the product. It seems like if its not glued to the container!!

& I called them and she said that a lot have been doing that but didn't even offer to exchange it or anything!

What should i do?

well if it comes out just put a dot of glue on the back to hold it in....not sure mine doesn't spin...I guess they won't replace it because they don't feel it stops you from using it maybe???

oh, I went to a closer Macy's MAC counter today & they had it all redone - it was a huge footprint in size. Loved it. They had these free standing makeup stations with the side lighted mirrors - aghh, I want one of those in my house they were so cool

Now, before I ever leave my house I start thinking about MAC restocking without me knowing, I feel like I need my freakin computer with me 24/7 so I can keep refreshing the page! I have completely gone nuts

PLEASE restock soon MAC so all this style black madness will finally end for me!

I was finally able to go look at the style black stuff, I live an hour away from the closest MAC. They still had everything, I ended up getting:

Young Punk
Cinderfella
Blue Flame
Bling Black
Black Fire (got the last one!!)
Grease Paint Stick
Seriously Hip
VAE
VTM
Night Violet (B2M)
Faultlessly (B2M)


Can't wait to try the volcanic stuff!

I got based on everyone's raves. If its that good, I might have to go back and get more. They still had some left!

So today I wore the GPS & Cinderfella packed on top wet, I did my make-up at 9am & before washing my face just now (11pm) I examined my make-up in the mirror & I swear it looked EXACTLY the same as it did at 9am! That's over 13-14 hours of wear! No shimmer fall out, no warn off spots, nothing! This is seriously the best collection ever!

I like the Matte Velvet in theory. But it is so thick and covers me so completely and have you ever had a foundation that made you dead, like there was no life in your face. That's how I feel about Matte Velvet, I have to load on blush and e/s to feel I exist.

I just tried the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator, and that stuff rocks!!! I just might have to make another trip to get more! LOVE!!!

I love night violet! I tried it sheered out too, and its terrific!! (Thank you Elegant!) I need to see if I can find more empties to B2M for another one! Its a definite must have for me.

I am not sure if somone postedx this idea yet or not, but for those of you who dont know what to do with the black lipstick in style black, you can use it to darken lighter lipstick or lipgloss colours

I LOVE the black greasepaint stick. It is the first product I have bought a "backup" of!!

It will not budge until you take it off. The perfect black eye base, and I love using it as a liner too. I apply it as a liner with an angled brush, and use a studio tools smudge brush to apply it as a base. Another thing I love: I can take any drug store/inexpensive mineral eyeshadow and make it stand out like craaazy. The Milani Runway palette with all of the silvers/gunmetal colors is GORGEOUS foiled over the greasepaint stick...

And today I swatched a VS beauty rush wet/dry e/s I have in "plum crazy" over it and....GAH I am in love with the results! Plum crazy is so dull on its own...even foiled. It's just...another purple eyeshadow. But over the greasepaint (especially foiled) it is just gorgeous. I don't think the swatches do it justice. So pretty!!! Heres pics I took. On top you can see the e/s on its own & underneath you can see it over the greasepaint stick
