So I think tonight marked my last Style Black haul. I hope. (my list of goodies to follow in a later post)

What suprises me most is that the one thing that I just KNEW I wouldnt be interested in was the main item I went looking for today---Young Punk MES!!
After reading all about it sooooo much, I convinced myself to try it

Here are my swatches on NC44 skintone:

Far right--Young Punk over black GPS
Middle--Younk Punk over black cream colour base
Far left--Younk Punk over Bat Black cream colour base

These swatches are not fresh, pics taken a few hours later after leavignthe store. Still pretty true coloring. Bat black smudged a little because my nephew grabbed my hand to look at it

I was most pleased with the way the color appeared on top of Bat Black---which worked out for me since I didnt buy the Black CCB

The good thing about the GPS one is that it didnt move at all. I was told that the CCB never dries so its always prone to smudging and creasing

No denying the Black GPS makes the color so pretty and intense!!!

but it turned out okay cos i used a cotton bud to scoop out the gps stuck in the sharpener and apply it later that night

just thought i'd warn u guys about using that sharpener it came with, i dont want anyone to ruin theirs too!

I made the mistake of sharpening my GPS also and had a very similar experience. I didn't lose as much because I stopped earlier, but I had to figure out a new way to sharpen it. I have been using my 214 to swipe the product in a upward motion like if I wear sharpening a stick to a point. This way I am still able to apply the product like a base, but keep the point intact for the times I want to use it as a liner. Hope this helps.

Oh man, I had to ask to see if my Nordies had any more today...sadly no avail, but they had a lot of VAE.
I think I need more.....

Same for me, I just decided to give up sharpening and I use an angled brush to apply it as a liner.

You won't regret it!

TiffanyD always says in her video tutorials as well how awesome this primer is. It is her fave, too.

Susanne,
How does FYEye compare to UDPP? Does is absorb oil better? Does it help eye shadow go on smoother? I have been curious about it since Tiffany D first started using it in her tutorials.

re: sharpening

I was surprised how soft the gps is and how much product was lost when sharpened, too. Plus it kinda gooped up in the sharpener and clean up just reminded me more of how much I was losing. Next time, I will see if freezing for a bit before sharpening helps.

So I went to Mac again today, I found more stuff to B2M for another Night Violet! I also got backups of the VAE & VTM. I got the last Thermal Mask!

They had 3 more exfoliators left. They had sold out of young punk & Night fire. They seemed to have everything else.

I'm just glad I could get back ups of the VAE, VTM & Night Violet, before they sold out!

I haven't tried UDPP yet - you can't buy it here - but Tiffany says f.y...eyes does absorb oil better.
And f.y..eye by Benefit definitely let your e/s go on smoother and last amazing. No creasing at all!

f.y..eye is definitely better than UDPP, in my opinion at least. from the primers i've tried i liked UDPP the least to be honest.
i currently use the artdeco primer, makes my eye make-up last forever!
