I have to immediately take them off or risk looking crazy when I face everyone to take a seat (if I can see, that it).

Move to Texas there is no winter...yeah I was like WTF...there is no prescription in them how are they so expensive...The Dr was like they are Chanel...I said but no prescription...he was like the prescription lens are the cheap part the frames is what do you in

But I love NJ, Tish! LOL

I know when I went to get my prada's they were hella expensive and when I looked at my receipt, the prescription was chump change compared to the frames. My total was $525.00 and the lenses were only $80.00!

My Chanel Shades are dark brown. My eyeglasses are brown and tanish clear.

When I do my FOTD I will take a picture with my eyeballs on!

I only paid 275 for Chanel eyeglasses w/ RX lenses. I got them at Lens Crafters a couple years ago.
I never wear them, only fall/winter time...I guess its about that time to break them out!

Know what you mean about matching the hair, I was Platinum Blonde when I got these, I am glad there is brown in them! It works for the color I am at now.

I need some new shades. I am just sooo spoiled with those Chanels, it blocks the sun on the side of my face/eyes. AND I CANT FIND ANYTHING CUTE LIKE THEM!!! Tish, girl, I know you have some ideas!?

Ha yea, I think J would really loose it on my if I spent $350 on sunglasses right now.
But, I don't think I could retire my Chanels. I have really never seen people wear the Chanels we have, that's why I still Rock them in pride 3+ years later!

I have been using fy eye now for literally a decade, because I started using it when DH and I were dating and in 10 days, we will be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary!!! I can't think of any other product that I have used for that amount of time.

I'm so happy reading these reviews! I've been wanting to try FY Eye for a while now. I like the staying power I get from UDPP but it's way too drying for me, especially this time of year. Do you ladies use a brush to apply FY Eye or your fingers?

I love all the glasses talk! I need to get my butt to the eye dr soon, I'm becoming blind as hell lately. I know I'll need glasses of some kind for medium - long distance. Reading/computer work vision is still good...for now.

Any rec's on the best places to find cute/chic/funky frames?

I am obsessed with Chanel sunglasses!! I usually treat myself with a new pair every year but for some reason I am not a fan of their eye glasses. I love D&G eye glasses.

Thank you to all of the VAE enablers. I love that stuff. I have used it once and it makes my skin feel so soft. Now I am starting to wish that I would have gotten the mask.

I apply a thin layer with my fingers.

I wear glasses 100% of the time and i alway wear shadow - i know some people think you should wear more neutral shades and stay away from bright colors but I have always found that my makeup looks great with my glasses

The eyeglass talk is amusing. I've been wearing them for 30 years and have never owned a pair that cost $500
amazed.gif
I think I maxed out at about $220.

The ones that I'm wearing in the FOTD pic actually cost about $10. That's for the lenses and the frames. Think I paid $3.95 for shipping. I buy online from Zenni Optical - Complete prescription eyeglasses from $8.00.

My mom thought that she wasn't "supposed" to wear eyeshadow with her glasses also. One day I was putting on my makeup and opted to wear my frames (my e/g are Chanel too
smiles.gif
) instead of my contacts and she acted like I was committing a cardinal sin! I've since broken her of that way of thinking tho!

Man, I'm so pissed with them moving the Style Black release here, I don't want to have to wait another week...!
ssad.gif

Infact, yesterday I was so annoyed I had the relieve the tension by buying some new shoes, lol. That's a little less money to spend on SB when it finally comes out unfortunately!

My shoes!! Impulse buys are great, haha.

I don't even understand the logic of not wearing shadow with glasses or only wearing neutral tones. In fact, my eyeshadows, liner, etc. and my brows are the things that bring out my glasses. I can't even tell you how many times I have gotten compliments on my frames (which were cheap by the way). It usually happens when I change up my makeup. Pish posh...

Glasses are so expensive. My last pair (not the ones pictured) were like $300. They weren't designer frames. Between the lenses and the frames I almost had a heart attack. You could easily spend $500, $600, $700 on a pair without thinking twice.

Looks I've done with my glasses:
