Hi guys!!!! I've missed you all. I didn't get to go to the Pro store at all but oh well. At least I still have some money and plus the slot machines at the New York New York Hotel is addicting!!! I'm so happy that I'm home!!!

I understand not wanting to stray too far and of course, we shouldn't be "cliquey", as much as one can be cliquey here, but c'mon. We are friendly with each other (for the most part) so why can't we carry on a bit? Why should we be nervous about our convo straying? Will mommy take our computers away? I've been holding my tongue on some things b/c speaking out has gotten me in trouble elsewhere. I don't like some attitudes around here, but I had to say something now. I will jump off topic and get back on w/o apologizing.

and Face2Mac, it's not a rant against you. It's a rant against the feeling that we can't jump off topic, enable, or mention dupes (the dupes I don't engage in, but whatever). These are the things that sets this place apart and makes it fun. I'm grown and I don't feel like being reined in.

I say that we should do what we have always done here. There is no rule as of yet that we can't have any personal chatter in the color collection forums only some members that suggested that it be kept to a minimum. I persoanlly like the personal chatter so I don't mind it. In fact I love getting to know all of you girls/guys better through the personal chatter. That is just my opinion though and I also respect those who feel that the personal chatter isn't necessary.

I understand not getting all book wordy - but most of us have tried to make it community with a welcoming feel. How better to do it than with some personal comments & with Humor! It can make those that are shy feel more comfortable to post. I've tried to contribute a lot of color information along the way as well as reaching out to many new posters - thats what imo has made it good, informative & fun. How can I not say that I really love a certain color - is that enabling

This thread has been pretty much dead. I'm not sure there is even much more to say about style black - other than its an awesome collection

And for the enabling on Specktra... hell I can't even imagine Specktra without it... I mean; it's the only place were we can rave about a product or color we love and be understood by someone. We need to be able to share MAC addicts feelings

That has been extremely funny on here. BTW - I hurt so bad I didn't even wear a bra for almost a week.

Without some personal chat it becomes...well, just shallow. I love makeup, but I love people more. If it comes to that...yep, I prolly won't stick around.

Elegant, I so agree with you. I didn't feel at all intimidated when I first joined because of yourself and others that made me feel so welcome. And the chatter is what makes this community so much better than others.

And I hope you're feeling better.

Too bad this thread is tapering off, seeing as I won't be buying MAC for a while, I can't really join in on the other colour threads (especially now i guess).
