hmmm i don't really think there is a dupe for this product. but if you want a good exfoliator i like lush's ocean salt. that works really well and the smell is like vodka! plus because it's not black it won't stain any lighter coloured towls!

They are still available at nordstrom both VAE and Vatm
And they also have more matte2 es than mac site, hmm I might order again

For those complaining about Young Punk not showing truly purplish but instead kinda fushia, I tried the other day with the blue GPS as a base in the lid and I felt the result to be more purplish than when using the other 2 GPS's.

I finally used Young Punk MES and it is beyond amazing. I used it wet which made it so sparkly. These are some of the best mineralize eye shadows that MAC has ever put out IMO.

Sorry girl didn't mean to rub it in!

My black greasepaint stick broke when I used it for the first time. It snapped at the base. I must have used too much pressure or something.

I hope that MAC re-releases them.

wow that sucks! can you still use it by rubbing your finger on it and then patting it on your lid as a base?

I am using my VAE for 7 weeks now and I love it!!! I use it once or twice a week and my skin looks so much better now.

If anyone in the Boston area is still in the hunt for Gilt and Blue Flame, the counter at the Macy's in Downtown Crossing had a bunch of each still available. (No Cinderfella or Young Punk - not sure who I was kidding still thinking that YP would be available, but I was in the area...

That is a good idea! I will use it that way. It does make the most amazing base. I used it with teal pigment the other day and OMG it was gorgeous!

I love VAE as well. I was so against getting it at first because it was LE but I am glad that I did. It makes my skin so soft.

Teal pigment with blue flame is awesome, I use grape in the crease with them and dry softwash grey as a highlight. It goes well with my teal-blue-purple hair especially when I wear my violet contacts.
