LoL! Well I know the last time Chanel had a quad that had my eye was this beige one from like last year. But I wasn't like a super makeup addict just yet then so I skipped it, but lookin back I wish I would have gotten it but oh well, their just really pretty creamy neutral-ly goodness lol.

I can't believe I have never bought a quad. I chicken out when I get to the counter. I can never decide on one, get frustrated and walk away. It's so much easier to choose gloss. LOL

I love my photo realism quad. It's so amazing, I considered buying the other two because I was on such a high. I came to my senses though because I was not impressed by the other two quads.

I really can't wait to get my hands on all the lippies from style black, especially the glosses. The date cannot come soon enough. I have never been this excited over a collection and that's saying a lot b/c I almost peed my pants waiting for style warriors.

My final list for this collection is:

Young Punk MES
Black Knight l/s
Blackfire Glimmerglass
Volcanic Ash Exfoliator
Volanic Ash Thermal Mask

That is all that I'm getting and I'm sticking to it.

I want all the lippies and I can't wear mineralized products, so I know that's out. I'm going to lose my mind with this collection because from what I can see, it's the last collection I am interested in.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned, but at update I found the Greasepaint Stick to have a bit of a reddish-purple sheen to it. I figured it had been dunked in the Young Punk or something. However I played with the test today and guess what - it's got a reddish purple pearlized pigments finish. It's not matte black, or even a silvery greyish finish, but a noticable reddish hue to it. It's got a black base, but it does have a bit of red in there too. Just FYI! It actually reminds me of Bat Black Cream Colour Base, just with alot more black in the mix.

We did already know it had purple in it, but reddish purple?! I wanted it to be solid black anyways...

Eff's sake man, I cannot wait for this collection.

Black lipstick can be so sexxxy, and I've got high hopes that Black Knight is the one I've been waiting for. I got Illamasqua's black and was dissapointed- the formula is strangely waxy and difficult to work with. For some reason, I can't rest until I finally get the creamy true black l/s that 14-year-old goth girl me lusted after- ah, the days of coating my lips in cheap black eyeliner and bonne bell pb&j lipsmackers...

As for Night Violet and Midnight Media, I haven't tried the mattene formula yet, how does it compare to the regular matte formula?

Mattene formula is better than matte IMO. I actually love MAC's mattes but I find mattenes are not as drying and still last a long time on my lips. They're also super pigmented. I adore Kirsch and Powersuite Mattenes and I can hardly wait for Night Vio;et
