MAC - Style Black Discussion

I gotta feeling that Blue Flame MES will be popular and will be the first MES to be sold out online quick lol I'm hoping that the Pro store in Las Vegas will still have this collection so that I'll stick to my list of what I want from this collection.

I have all my list on my iphone shopper application. I orginally named it Hello Kitty Mac, becuz it was so huge to me. but this is just as big,..just less accessories! I will have to rename it. I'm thinking "black mac attack". hehe

Also, off the subject of makeup(for a second) I got the coach coupon and want the Black croc Maggie. See the trend? That will be probably a grand month...plus new shoes/booties... on and on

Ok so I'll probably just get 1 Gold MES, and then possibly get doubles of the other 3 lol, these are colors I live for! Nice and sparkly!

So is the exfoliator or the mask better? I can't decide if I need both but Ill prolly end up getting both of the them. Which place are the ingredients from again?

I'm in love with the exfoliator, but it depends on your skins needs as to which would be better. If you have flakes, I'd go with the exfoliator, but if you have more blemishes, I'd go with the mask.

The ash comes from mount venuatu.

I got a little sneak peak at Style Black today and I have a few thoughts. All of this is just my opinion. Your mileage my vary.

This collection is everything Erine said and then some. Amazing. And lately it takes alot to impress me. After viewing the collection my list is actually a bit shorter than it was because I am no longer planning to buy one of everything but I do intend to get backups of a couple of things I really love (I usually don't buy backups).

The one thing I think EVERYBODY should buy from this collection is the greasepaint stick. The texture is amazing and it is a wonderful base for the shadows. I compared the shadows over this and over Sharkskin. The greasepaint stick is alot better.

I really like the nail polishes in this as well. Susanne I can totally see you rocking Baby Goth.

I will be passing up all of the l/s and CCBs (I have Night Violet mattene and Bat Black CCB already).

All of the shadows are fantastic but I am only getting Young Punk as that is the only color I think I will use regularly and I am getting a back up. I am also getting Blackfire Dazzleglass. It is INSANELY GORGEOUS over Chanel Hysteria lipstick.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Here's my initial review of the Style Black collection. If I could return everything I've bought from MAC this year (with the exception of Starflash e/s <3) and trade it in for Style Black stuff I totally would!!! That's how much I love it!!

I got all 4 of the MES. My favorites of the bunch are Young Punk and Blue Flame so far but they are all gorgeous and have awesome pigmentation and texture. Best of all?? No fallout!!! I couldn't wait so I slapped some Young Punk haphazardly on my eyes and there's no glitter on my face whatsoever. The only base I had on was UDPP from earlier today. I can only imagine how amazing it would look applied wet

I also picked up Bling Black Glimmerglass. I have somewhat pigmented lips but regardless of how much you layer it on, I don't think you're going to black, but what you will get is a darker tone to your lips? I wasn't too interested in these at first but after the MA had me try it on I was sold!! Maybe someone else can explain it better but I definitely suggest you try this one on if you are unsure!

As for the greasepaint, looooooooove!!! It is smooth, blends amazingly well and glides on with ease. I foresee picking up backups in the future in addition to some of the MES for sure.

The nail polishes are awesome! I haven't tried them on just yet but I will later and take pics.

Haven't tried the VA Thermal mask or VAE yet but will have a detailed review when I do!
