Would Erin shoot me If I ask if the greasepaint are waterline safe? I think someone posted the answer but have forgot.

Yeah these aren't waterline safe unfortunately.

I tried that Antiqued Gold when I got the Rust...it was just too much sparkle everywhere for me...and I had glitter everywhere just testing it....I am too glitter challanged for those...i will stick with the MES and make it work

I would NEVER do somthing like that...

That said.. maybe wait for the holiday vial version, but you need to do that look on yourself, it's beautiful! Sometime I wish i had black skin to pull off golds like you ladies. My skin is pale yellow so gold is just not as great on me.

edit ^ well texture wise it's the same as Rust. But yeah.. like all those fine reflects glitter (not like the quite chunkier Very Pink) if you blow on them by inadvertance your done they are everywhere. That said vials are a LOT less messy (and you still have enough for a lifelong of using it...).

Oh and, please post the look if you do it ? MES or any version, I'm curious.

Hi everyone! I am sad that I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to follow this thread at ALL
ssad.gif

BUT, I did see a good portion of this collection at Nordies yesterday and it looks really beautiful!

To start, the MES are gorgeous! They are a lot smoother than I expected, and the "glitter" if it can even be called that, is so fine and shimmery- a very nice multi-dimensional shine. All the colors are awesome and look very much like the swatches as seen on Specktra, so it just depends on what ones you like personally.

The black cremesheen was also a unique product- it doesn't have much opacity; rather, it is very sheer and acts almost like an oil slick or something, if that makes sense. It will create a soft sheer gloss of black.

The black mattene is exactly that: black and matte and very much like any other mattenes.

Blackware glimmerglass reminds me of the black cremesheen in color payoff, but is a gloss instead of lipstick.

The greasepaint stick was also very pretty and seemed to smudge out VERY evenly and smoothly. I was impressed. Might beat Smolder e/l for a nice smokey liner...we'll have to see!

I also noticed the gold-black glimmerglass and the bat black CCB but forgot to test both.

For me, the things I will think about picking up is:
-Gilt by Association & Young Punk MES
-Black Knight Cremesheen for that very do-able black l/s
-Greasepaint Stick for the smudgy liner look

Since I'm trying to actually get rid of some of my collection, not ADD to it, I will be sticking to only a couple items.

I LOVE how this looks but I don't think I'd personally have any occasion to wear a look like that. I wish they'd do some lighter colors with this super-fine-rather-than-chunky-glitter you're all saying these have!

Just an idea - if you don't like a whole glittery/shimmery eye, just do 1 or 2 light finger dabs over your regular eyeshadow but just over the middle section of the lid over the pupil. Its subtle but very pretty.

I do this with the middle chunky bronze strip from the trio strip mes & it's very pretty. Ya know that middle bronzey zipper ya'll hated

I've got my wishlist down to a conservative 4

Glimmerglass- Blackfire
E/S - Young punk
Nail - Seriously hip
Exfoliator

But it could all change once I see the stuff in store.

Does anyone know if the exfoliator is ok on slightly sensitive skin?

I did. I'm not sure I love it though...I'm not sure why either. It may be too cool for me, which would not be the case for you. It is super dark.
