You guys, I saw the collection last night and I was surprised which piece stood out for me! It was the Grease Paintstick in Intense Black, too bad there's only one in this collection, because OH MY was it gorgeous, a strong, black base that applies precise but thick with a violet/purpl fire in it, it is so nice. Need this for my smokey eye/ retro style thick liner. Wow!

Just an idea - if you don't like a whole glittery/shimmery eye, just do 1 or 2 light finger dabs over your regular eyeshadow but just over the middle section of the lid over the pupil. Its subtle but very pretty. I do this with the middle chunky bronze strip from the trio strip mes & it's very pretty. Ya know that middle bronzey zipper ya'll hated

Great Idea....My friend is sending me a sample of the Antiqued Gold.....But I think I will be able to get the look that I want with the MES because i don't want mine as glitterly looking as her...she is on stage after all in front of a huge crowd and lights...and my performance audience only consists of one ticket holder...My hubby....and he likes as less glitter as possible

Well I saw this collection in person yesterday. OMG, its pure sex.
I pre-ordered $174 in damage. I am tempted to add another VATM to my list.
The MES are too die for & I am not the biggest MES fan. Over the greasepaint they're just tasty. I ordered 3, except for GBA. That one was the only one that didn't wow me! I wish it had more of a black base like the other 3, but, it's a maybe...
They didn't have any of the lipsticks. But, I ordered the Mattene.
The glosses are pretty, not must haves IMO, but I ordered 2. Blackfire & Blackware. They were nice a pigmented, both will be great over my red lipsticks! Bling Black was too sheer, but I think it would be best that aren't comfy with the black lips.
The Greasepaint stick is awesome, it has a nice purple sheen to it! A perfect black base for the MES or any dark black look you want to do!
I only ended up getting one nail laquer, Baby Goth Girl. Its super pretty, not a must have, but I am also a nail polish Junkie!
I am always gonna be in love with VAE, I only ordered 1, since I have 2 jars here at home.
I am excited to see how the VATM works!

Ok.. someone have to explain me whats the big deal with VAE ? I'm using my sample (second time I use it today) and it pisses me off. The sugar in it melt in like 30 sec, so I don't have the time to exfoliate as much as I want.. grr... I need more time then that, I have the most flaky dry skin ever.
(yeah I use it in the shower but hell... I wont use it somewhere else..)

Has anyone tried Midnight Media Mattene with Blackware over it?
I originally wanted Black Knight because I thought that it would be a shiny, creamy black black. But from what you've been saying it is quite sheer. So I was looking at getting Midnight Media and wondered how Blackware looks over it? It is shiny black heaven?
