if i had more free cash then i would buy all 4. but i've got some day trips planned soon and need to save money for those!

i think that blue flame with fix+ will be awesome! i've also got the water based mixing medium to see how that goes with it too

I saw the Chanel collection too (except that the lippies were missing on the displayer for some reason). I swatched the quad but it really disappointed me, the colours were not vibrant and they all looked almost the same. Are they supposed to be used wet, maybe that's the trick? Anyway, I still love Chanel!

Also I have noticed that I'm really seriously hooked on Mac. I saw a dream AGAIN about playing with new Mac stuff, in this case - Style Black. Let me tell you that was a hot dream... Pink sparkles, black gloss, burgundy creamy things!

I just came back from the Pro store, damage:

Young Punk MES
Cinderfella MES
Blue Flame MES
Baby Goth Girl n/p

Why did I pick Blue Flame and said it was less vibrant? Because I chose it with my MA to get the one with the more black in it, I like it way better

I would suggest to be carefull with Ciderfella too, when I saw the tester in the store it was almost all silver and no black, so a lot less nice, but once again I chose one with the more black in it and it rock's. Oh, and I don't think you can go wrong with any Young Punk, this one is awesome.

I may go back for the grease paint stick but I don't think so... still like Black Black more for a b it longer time to blend and the price for quantity.


** From other collections: Hunting, I have Otherworldly p/p so it's great. Clear Sky Blue and French Violet pigments. ANd I didn't take In the gallery quad because has opposite as the first one I saw it wasn't buttery love..**

Why did I go to the Nordies counter today?!!! I went from not wanting anything from this collection, to just two things....to way too much. I know how I am, but I went anyway! I just want to know why......WHYYYYYY???!! (lol just got finished watching Steel Magnolias, Sally Field was the ish lol!!).

Anywhoo, I now want 3 out of the 4 MES definitely!!! The one that I'm on the fence about is Gilt by Association, only because on my skintone it looks alot like Cocomotion p/g, but GBA is has more sparkle and seems to have less fallout...ahh!! If I can get a simillar look with just Cocomotion and a black base I'll pass for now....or maybe I'll just swap the two. Hmmm...

All of the colors are GORGEOUS!! There nothing like I expected, I thought that they were going to be mostly black with swirls of the sparkles. Instead, it's the opposite if that make sense....just gorgeous I tell ya! They are smooth, pigmented, and the sparkle lasts for a good bit. The fallout on these didn't seem that bad either.

I'm passing on Night Violet only b/c I fell in love with the dark purple combo that is in the FW '09 collection. The CCB, d/g, and other lippies are also out for me.

I Hate MES and I already reserved all 4 of these Style Black ones. So I hope I love them. Happy my boyfriend is away as I can play with no shame.

Ya I know how you feel. I passed all the color craft MES I hated them and I hated the look of them even more. But I can't believe how the style back ones look over a black base, it makes me squee with delight.

Maybe I'm just not getting it, i'm sorry, but aren't you suppose to chose the one with more color in it so you could actually see more of the color than the black? or is it the other way around? you chose one with more black base in it?

So, I went to a MAC store today (which I never get to do) & checked out the Style Black again & all the new Dazzleglass Creme

I know that we all talked about that color on the girls lips in the SB promo pic...& I can't remember what ls color was posted & I thought that does not look like that color at all. So the MA said the color on her lips is Night Violet really sheered out by patting it on with your finger, & then Blackfire very lightly dabbed over it , but not over the entire lip - more towards the inner center of the lips. The MA showed me & it looked pretty much exactly like the promo pic lips. She took it right out of the book.

Well, is this^ true for the photo pic or is it that other lippie that no one thought looked like the lip color in the promo pic.

I personally I am choosing the ones with more color...it is not the black I am going for it's the gold, silver and purple with black

Well it's just that when I tried the blue one with more veining it was more sheer and I had to swatch it 2-3 times, and with the one with less veining it was still as blue and glittery but more opaque in one swipe.

And with Cinderfella it was even more obvious, the one in the store today was like almost only silver and it lokked like plain silver fine glitter, without the smokey effect, so I chose one with more black and it's perfect. Still full of glitters but deep too.

Momma Spy, I'll post a pic of how shocking Pink Shock is once I get it. Probably won't be until late this week or next week, though. Stupid UPS is so slow.

I got My Favorite Pink - brighter (kinda Barbie) pink pink

Do It Up - very pretty fuchsia rose pink
Perfectly Unordinary - medium peachy pink
Luscious Spark - Beautiful sheered out - brighter orangey peachy - this one is really pretty. It looks really orange in the tube, pics & swatches, but sheered out it is so so pretty.

If you like darker red/berry/shimmery - you need to get Amorous
