paint pots are a cream to powder shadow, where shadesticks are a cream shadow. they don't dry down like paint pots. because they dry down, paint pots can be (and are actually meant to be) worn alone. since they don't dry down, shadesticks will crease a bit if worn alone.

Shadesticks don't always crease when not topped with a shadow - it depends on how thick/thin the layer you put on is! Too thick = creasy yuck. It helps to put a drier base like a paint under them, too.

I love some of the colours on their own!

Being new to MAC, I only discovered Sharskin right after it hit CCO and before the repromote. I love it and began to collect all the others. I have 8 and am so excited and plan to add some of these new ones to my collection!

thanks erine and sanayhs. I am getting all 4 of these ss regardless of never owning a ss before. I figure if I play around with these long enough, I can find a way to make them all work for me.

I love the new packaging. Pastel colors are cool but I kind of miss the bold ones. Great regardless, though.

I saw from a Taiwan magazine that this collection will feature new products!!!!!!!

Tri-colors lipglass in rectangular packaging (you can see 3 different colors mix into a single lipglass eg.top layer pink,middle layer blue,bottom layer yellow). And there are also MINERALIZE SKINFINISH (very pretty & extremely similar to Lightscapade MSF) and very sugar-sweet color eyeshadows.

The promo image features lots of cakes too. Very tempting!
