Yes they will!

I'd hate for this stuff to start caking and turning into a cottage cheese mess on the lips because the gloss applied over it started to make the color separate.

Oh Heavens cottage cheese on one end is bad enough

Take note though: I'd love to see some strappy, extremely complicated, Gladiator type high heel sandals

Love these new Gladiator sandals, just wore a sexy pair the other day

Oh did I tell you that Grand Duo from Grand Duos is my new "Bitch"?!?
Life as I know it will never be the same!

A rep for being the funniest and coolest person on Specktra who likes her wine. Nothing wrong with that.

I tend to enjoy wine quite a bit myself.

Geeze, a bunch of drunks we have here huh? I can not hold alcohol at all. Seriously, I am on the floor in 2. NOT pretty.

Anyway, I went to see the colleciton today. Seriously disappointed, which is good thing for my wallet. I got Peppermint Patti nail polish, and will probably go back for Aquavert since I have serious seller's remorse, and Stars and Rockets later since it's perm. I already have Lollipop Loving. I swatched St. Germain and Bubbles and didn't think I would get much use out of either. SG was very cool toned on me, and I am still in love with Lavender Whip and Fashion Mews, so I think I will stick with those. I wear mostly nude or pale lippies anyway, so I don't have much need for a highlighter, and skipped Bubbles. Swatched both of the MSFs and they looked very similar on me. I ended up playing with Moon River from Grand Duos and loved the look of that one so I got that instead. I really liked Sugar Shot, but the melange side of MoonRiver looked almost identical to Sugar Shot on me, so I passed in favor of MR. Dear Cupcake is nice, but I don't wear corals much at all. I didn't even touch the lipglosses. The shadesticks do seem creamier than the originals, but I don't use the ones I have. I do have to admit that Cake Shop was gorgeous though. So, all in all, I am much more excited for Rose Romance, so I am saving for that one. I am happy to have Peppermint Patti though... so cute for spring

I was going post about this anyway, so here goes...

I went back to the MAC counter today (shocking, i know!). I wanted to have another look at St. Germain seeing as everyone kept saying it was lighter and more wearable than MM. On its own, it was lighter, but not a whole lot more wearable. In comes helpful MA, (after dealing with the most incompetent and rude SA ever, but more on that later). She suggests Pink Treat, line and fill in the lips a little, add St. Germain, blend. Better, but still not totally sold. She brings over Tasty lipgloss. I dab that on, blend and it was pink perfection!

Um, so, I added to my SS haul yesterday with, you guessed it! St. Germain and Tasty tri-colour gloss (which i really really wasn't gonna get, but whatever!) Oh, and I also had a look at Viva Glam VI SE, which is where super incompetent SA comes in... do I write about that here or in the viva glam thread?!

For some reason, I feel like $10 for MAC nail polish isn't so bad but any other brand I cringe even if it's like $7, lol. Which is kinda funny b/c MAC's isn't that amazing. But Peppermint Patti is love
heart.gif
Except that I applied it yesterday and it is all gone now! I think it was this Sally Hansen "no chip" stuff I just bought- used it as an undercoat, didn't work so well

Girl anything over $3.50 is high to me because that is what I pay at Sally's for My China Glaze and thats with a Sally's card....There are certain things I am so cheap about then others I don't even look at the tags...so weird why I think that way....But I must admit I have paid @ 7.00 for my OPI polishes but that was quite sometime ago...Maybe because I only paint my toes is why I am a nail polish cheapo

I agree, $10 for polish is close to the norm for most salon brands (OPI is $8.50 and Essie is $9 I think), and is much less expensive than other high end makeup brands like Dior and Chanel. I don't love MAC's formula, but must admit, they are coming out with some really unique shades lately. For something that is not dupeable in another brand, I will cave. Tish, I love the idea of white tips with it! I have a Konad nail art stamper, so I am looking forward to stamping a design with crisp white. I am getting ready to start my mani in a few minutes

Yep, just a few little things thanks to a nice tax return... it's nice, and I am much more appreciative of my purchases than before. I get so excited when I go to the counter now!

I think it's best to buy the MAC Polishes that you think are unique and beautifullll.

Like Whirlwind from Blue Storm, which was the first MAC polish I bought. I fell in love <3

I think Peppermint Patti is the perfect color for spring coming up
