The nanogold that I have from the N collection is the one I hate like poison. I don't really ever use the one in my Spiced Chocolate quad, so maybe it isn't as bad?

Neither of these MSF's resemble Soft and Gentle. Refined is quite a dark peach on me, but I love it! Perfect Topping is a beautiful mix of Lavender and Pink. Both are nice in there own ways, but I would buy Perfect Topping over Refined any day. I think you could use Refined alone, but I personally wouldn't use Perfect Topping alone. JMO..... Perfect Topping is just what the name indicates. A perfect topping over your blush!!! Loves it!

I think as far as Refined and what color it looks like ....depends 100% on your skintone....also as to if you can wear it as a Blush solo also depends on your tone..On My tone NC45 it has a totally different color appearance than someone who is more fair in color...it is not a great blush for my tone at all....

I do agree...that Perfect topping is best as a Blush topper...I think you would have to be very very fair to wear it solo as blush

Perfect Topping on my NC15 skin works as blush for me. Sometimes I will add a little Taupe blush as contour, so yeah on the whole I would say most people need to wear this over blush. But it's a gorgeous color.

Have you noticed lately, nail polish seems to be very popular? First with HK and now Peppermint Patti.

They aren't usually loved as much as other products are they.
I got one from Dame Edna, aren't overly thrilled with it. But the ones i have from Hello Kitty i love! I for sure want this one. Haven't heard much love for Seasonal Peach though.

Seasonal Peach goes on a little streaky, but very pretty on. Maybe cause this was a repromote?
I love Varicose Violet from Dame Edna.

Thats right, I forgot it was in the SC quad. I don't use it...at all. But, it is fairly smooth in the quad, I guess I'm just not in love with the color all that much.

I have Lola Devine np - its really really pretty on, but doesn't last as long as OPI.

Oh, & OPI Japanese Rose Garden looks great with the Sugarsweet colors...even the MAs loved it with the collection. Its my all time favorite nail polish color EVER ...go figure

I am NW25 and Refined is far from orangey. It is just an icy peachy gold highlighter- unlike anything else ever released in the MSF line. The closest to it is Gold Spill without the glitter- but it is a bit peachier than that.

Refined and Perfect Topping are some of the nicest MSFs ever released.

I have long reviews with photos that I did of them both today, but am I allowed to put links on to them? I don't want to do anything that is not permitted (it is not a blog or anywhere that I get anything from people clicking on the reviews).

It would take me too long to post the photos here since I would have to reconfigure them all to fit and I can't get to it for a few days.

Perfect Topping, btw, is a lovely mix of peach and pink too. GORGEOUS.

I am NW25 and the other day when I was at Dillards I swatched both Refined and Perfect Topping... Refined was actually a lot more sheer on than it looks in the pan. I thought it would look "corally" on me, but surprisingly it didn't...It was very pretty but just gave a slight shimmer. The perfect topping was shimmer with a subtle pink and I LOVE IT so that is the one I ended up getting. I would go in and try them both if you can because they are a lot different on than just looking at the pics or even looking at them in real life.
