MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Today I ordered Stars N Rockets and another Lollipop Loving for my co-worker. I will order a backup of another LL tomorrow though as well as Perfect Topping MSF and Butternutty shadestick. Oh! I used Refined MSF today over Fun and Games blush and it looked so pretty! I used a very light application of Refined and did a lot of blending and it turned out so pretty!

I couldn't resist Perfect Topping so I ordered it just now. I also ordered another LL for backup and will not order anything else after that. I can wait to purchase the shadesticks on Nordie's website.

Soooo.. I went to my macy's MAC counter today to purchase backups of the lippies & the MUA told me that I can't use B2M on the new collection? So I couldn't B2M for sugarsweet l/s. Is that true? Or was he just bs-ing me? =( Cuz I could've sworrrnnn I've B2M for lipsticks of a new collection.

Sounds like bull to me! Lol..maybe that is the individual stores policy! Sounds like no MAC operates the same...some stores you can do certain things, and some stores you can't... Its WACK

I B2M at Macy's for two lipstick last week...It is not new collections it is Special Packaging Collections....

If its special packaging that applies but this wasnt. I would definity call customer service... maybe even do it from the store...

My macys always tries to do stuff like that. Then they call the MAC store down the mall and they tell them what to do.

BTW- Whenever I complain to my MAC freestanding store about the counters. They always say, uggg... they should know. Call customer service. So per the stores suggestion.. I would call.

You should definitely call them and see what another MA might say. I've never B2M'd anything before. I just started getting into the hobby of depotting. So I just called my MAC counter (in Macys) and she said she wasn't exactly sure about whether you can B2M for lippies in different packaging (like the Hello Kitty one) but said definitely could B2M for the sugarsweet because the packaging is the classic black. You just can't use B2M on Viva Glam l/s. But you should have been able to for the Sugar Sweet. Was anyone able to B2M for Hello Kitty? My MA wasn't positive about the packaging. I wanted to save my empties for the Style Warriors collection, but if I can't B2M for those due to the packaging, I'll B2M for lollipop loving.

I've never B2M before either and I do want to try it someday whenever I can. Today was a MAC shopping spree for me and needs to calm down before it gets out of hand.

LOL I've been on a shopping spree ever since I was introduced to MAC. Now that I'm in love with MSFs, that seemed to make my addiction worse! I can't seem to control myself b/c it seems that with the new collections, everything that I buy I just need to have backups of everything. Good thing I take care of the bills, etc. lol my poor hubby would probably have a heart attack if he saw how much makeup I buy. He's always going nuts over my makeup shopping sprees. It makes no sense to him that I'd rather spend my money on MAC instead of clothes lol. When those new collections come out, I'm devoted to just that collection, you won't see me shop anywhere else until the collection is over lol
