MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

For those of you who think Perfect Topping doesn't show up well as a blush, try wetting your brush first. When I first tried PT, I realized for my NW20 skintone it would work best for me as a highlighter. But I just tried wetting my blush brush with my Fix+ then apply Perfect Topping. WOW!!! That's all I can say! Huge difference and tons of peachy/pink color. Now if I want to use this as a blush, I just wet my brush first. And if I want it as a highlighter I simply use a dry brush. If you want to use this as a blush, I would recommend wetting your brush first so that you get more of an effect. Just beautiful and super pigmentation when applying with a wet brush. (It also lasts longer than when applying it dry.) I am now convinced to buy my first MSF backup!!!!!!!!

I use it straight on my lid, after using Painterly paintpot. Then I put shadow over that. Very smooth, no problems.

I viewed the collection at the store but i bought all my items online. Anyway i ordered dear cupcake, sugarshot, and aquavert. They(Bloomingdales) made a mistake on my order and sent me embark instead of aquavert. They are correcting my order and i get to keep embark e/s for free.

I was wondering do you think i can work this shadow into a look with eyeshadows i got from this collection?

I'm thinking of getting a backup of Butternutty ss. I've been using it everyday, love it. I already got a Sugarshot and perfect Topping backup. I'm also contemplating Penny ss, I'm not sure how much I'll use it though.

OT~ I'm a kitty lover too! I would love a dog but not walking it. I like big dogs, in fact if I had a house I would get this dog:Bernese mountain dog

Lucky you! I would use embark with sugarshot and dear cupcake.

It reminds me of woodwink, amberlight, (around those colours/finishes). So I guess if you use those colours a lot, you'll get a lot of usuage out from Penny

Well, think about it this way, if you ran out of Butternutty, there's always Beige-ing

THANK YOU for this tip. I am going to try it tomorrow. My NW20 self had pretty much given up hope on PT and I was going to give it to a friend - - but I will give it one more chance with this method...
And refined is growing on me - - I initially though it was too subtle, but I really kinda like the softer color. I think it will look gorgeous this summer. So this one is a keeper.

I also noticed tonight that Consume Me tricolor lipglass is sold out and Club eyeshadow is out of stock online. I did not think those would be the next casualties.

You're welcome. I was the same way. I had originally just bought PT because of all the reviews here, the fact that it was beautiful to look at, and to add to my collection of MSFs. I figured I could always swap it in the future. At first I loved Refined more as it showed more on my skin in using as a blush, but after using PT with a wet brush, it's 50/50 between the 2. But when using Refined, being that I'm NW20, I wouldn't use a wet brush with it as I already have to use a light hand when applying.

I noticed that Consume Me was sold out, too. I'm surprised. With most complaining about the glosses being less pigmented, I expected Tasty would be sold out first because you get more color out of it than the others.

She was rummaging through my MAC boxes earlier on today, I wish I had gotten a pic of it.

That's such a cute sweater and leggies :O My dog would never let me put that on her... hahahaha. I tried to dress her up as a reindeer one Christmas... she was so mad at me with the antlers on.

Ernie-Those were all accidents, I swear. I will probably have a few more as time goes on.

Why the hell doesn't MAC screw up my orders? The only one they have ever jacked up is a gift I sent directly to someone. Oh wait. They sent me the wrong lip liner once. I would like them to send me the incorrect MSF. But, that would require me not buying all of them when they come out.

When I first got her, she didn't mind me putting outfits on, but she wouldn't move afterwards lol. But now she loves it, especially when I pull out her coats (She knows what that means........) She's still getting used to walking with hoodies on. lol.

I tried SO hard to find antlers for her last Christmas. But she's so tiny, I couldn't find one her size

I dressed her as Belle from Beauty & the Beast. I couldn't believe it when I found the dress lol. I have to take a pic tomorrow for you to see, I literally made her a section in my closet for her clothes lolol. I probably buy her more clothes than I do for me lol.

Belle? Awww... that's so cute. I'd love to get a little dog that I could dress up, but at the same time I love big dogs so much because I grew up around them.

I might make you absolutely jealous with this one...lol. MAC screwed up my order and sent me doubles of an order once. I ended up with 2 gleeful blushes, 2 petticoats, 2 merrily blushes, and 2 of the 316 covered lip brushes and 2 sweetie l/s and 2 snob l/s.

Guess what?...They let me keep it all.
Probably because it took over 2 weeks for me to get my order and i was calling and harassing them..lol. It usually only takes 2 days.
