Okay the creepiest part about those shadesticks is that I had dream about them a few months ago the exact same colors and everything!
Except in my dream they actaully smelt like cake!

I dunno... they usually manufacture stuff up to 6 months pre-release and this was made Nov 08 - its very possible it could be March release!

umm, maybe it's not special packaging. maybe they just reformulated shadestick and changed the packaging color to matches the color inside. if it were special packings for the summer collection, i'd expect the color of the packagings to be the same (judging from what we've seen in the past)

I was thinking the exact same thing! I love this packaging, and these colors, too! I hope there are more of these released - like a whole new line.

I'd love to see a collection with new and old Paints.. but I don't think that this will ever happen.

Hmmm this doesn't make sense to me.
Didn't they discontinue shadesticks? As in they have diminished the entire product? So why would they bring it back with new shades if paintpots were to replace them? Just for LE?

Sounds bizarre. Im not a fan of them anyway but I don't know it just doesnt seem right to me.

Those dazzleglasses sure look pretty. But I don't think I will be purchasing anymore. I hardly reach for the ones I have b/c I don't want to use them up. lol

^^^they haven't dc'd shadesticks. they've just dc'd all the colors but three-beige-ing, shimmersand and gentle lentil. trust me, if they got rid of them entirely, there'd be a backlash against mac from all beige-ing users. myself included!
