I like lipglasses. I could even be friends with the other packaging of them but I don't like useless gimmicks (especially when they turn out gross in the tube once they mix). You only really can use them all together on your lips so what is the point of the three layers?

Maya is fine - just have to somehow find the $$$$ for her surgery. I will likely have her eye procedure done first and the dental stuff done later. She is not in any pain, which is good. It's just stressful knowing we have to get this stuff done. Good thing I've been on a no buy! Looks like I am on Team No! indefinitely................but that's cool. My kitties are more important than any lipgloss any day!

Can someone PLEASE explain to me why everyone is so in love with shadesticks? I pulled out beige-ing today thinking "there must be something great about this". As I roll it across my lid, a large chunk broke off and fell into the sink. So, then I molded the tip back together and tried again. Nothing. Not an ounce of color on my lids. I tried to use a brush. Nothing. I tried my fingertips, barely anything at all. After I was done, it felt like I had been yanking on my eyelids for two days. They are hurting!!!

I lead a perfectly normal life with 0 shadesticks.

I find that my shadesticks are easier to use if I warm them up a bit - I just take some off with a synthetic brush and work it on the back of my hand, then apply to my lids. Beige-ing is an essential for me - I love it because it makes colours POP like nothing else. Seriously, NOTHING else in my stash pops colour like a shadestick.

I'm sorry people are having trouble applying these, I've never had an issue.

rbella - maybe you got a "bad one"? I don't know. Erine uses these regularly too, maybe she can weigh in on this.....
