Seriously, y'all think the model is fugs? I really love it! She's like a chocolate cupcake with pastel green frosting! I want to eat her up.
Then again, I really really love pastels...on anyone for that matter, so I may be a minority. I just think the promo is fabulous.
edit: I think if you were to put those colours on a "white" model, she'd look like she was dead. They'd wash her out, so I think it was a good decision to choose a model with a deeper skin tone.

I think the model they used for the promo pic is gorgeous, but the colours and makeup application on her face look "off" to me. Given the talent of MAC MAs, they could have done a much better job. Just MHO, but then I am a grouch today.
And sorry Tricolour lovers, but those glosses still look icky to me. Even sitting next to a cupcake.

I am feeling very ambivalent towards Sugarsweet. On the one hand, it appeals to me so much, but on the other hand, I can't think of any one specific thing that I actually *want*. The tricolor glasses seem kind of pointless. The shadesticks - well, most of them sound like they would be very similar to stuff I already have, like Crimsonaire and Beige-ing. And the eyeshadows feel sort of blah. And still I love this collection! Figure that one out.

Mac are running out of ideas. The more I look at all the new collections coming out I just get dissapointed. How many re-promotes from previous collections & the perm/pro line can you have in one year?!! It wasn't even that long ago when they were originally released.
Im more interested in the perm line nowadays & even branching out to other brands like Chanel & Dior. Too bad they're much more expensive but the quality is amazing.

I just read that the highlighter is a lustre and the pink shadow a satin, just like the Ungaro one, which is really difficult to work with. So I just might pass this whole collection! (wallet says yay!) and those tri-colored thingies are absolute no-nos! I'm in team no-no!
