Thanks for the swatches. But I'm still trying to decide if i should get Seductive Intent, which looks to me a lot like Violetta which i have.Seductive Intent is closest to Divine on my arm (NW15-20) but on my naturally mauvey lips Divine leans more pink and has a drier, sheerer formula whereas SI goes on more blue-purple and has a creamy, opaque formula. SI wins hands down IMO!

Compared to Violetta, is SI darker or lighter or about the same? Bluer/purpler or warmer/pinker or about the same?
Some people have said they ARE the same, except for finish. Others seem to have found differences...
Blue Gaze and also the Grey Friday polish look great. I'm kinda glad we don't get them over here so I'm not tempted to order them.

On my lips Violetta is slightly sheerer and a warmer, pinker tone than SI. The indirect sunlight swatch shows the difference better, I think!

so i really want all three mattenes and two of the lipglasses. But I am still trying to determine if mac dries my lips an makes them peel. I know cremesheens are a no no for me. Satins are better my lips end up peeling. Mattes do the leas amount of damage but eventually my lips peel, Not sure about amplified formulas. I am wondering how mattenes will fit into this equation. Does anyone else have these problems? So far, dior, chanel rouge coco, burberry (mist and matte) and bobbi brown gloss seem to work without the damage. I refuse to believe i can only wear high end lippies. OMG im in real trouble if that's the case
Nars, mufe nor illamasqua matte (so long eurydice) lippies do not work for me either and they are high end....

That's an interesting dilemma. I've always had dry, peeling lips even before I started wearing makeup, so I'm no help. so i just got my BROWN? box.these are my first mattenes ever. i like the formula. my favorite one is nocturnal instincts, because of how original and diferent it is. on me its like dark grayed purple nude?? it almost looks rosy but i see the purple .i know WTF. the other 2 are ok, but common in my collection of never ending pinks and purples that are pink.

I've been tempted to buy Lime Crime a few times because they are the only brand that has colors I've been looking for...but knowing the way they treat people, I just can't bring myself to do it. Threatening to sue anybody who gives an honest review on your products is not a way to make people like them.

Seductive Intent on my looks like my Heroine just a tad lighter, as if I either Blotted it or have been wearing it for a couple of hours. I like it though but I'm wondering if I need 3 purple lipsticks. I LOVE Nocturnal Instincts! It looks light lavender with a hint of pink on me.

Yikes! I am loving my Poisonberry and Chinchilla lipsticks from Lime Crime. I actually haven't worn my Chinchilla yet, except for testing it in the house due to my lips being so dry. I have work Poisonberry to work and got lots of compliments. When my package never showed up, they were willing to assist me. I have read that a few independent companies seem to be overly sensitive to bad reviews. No one wants their products reviewed badly, but they should take it and see what can be done for it. For every bad review, I am sure there are also great reviews. Look at MAC. People go off on them for anything. Funky new lipsticks shades, having Nicki Minaj as their spokesperson, but in reality. They know they have the "it" for makeup and no bad review is going to stop their addicts from buying their stuff if they want it. Sorry. Went off on a rent. I need my morning coffee.
