Say wha!? My black friday order was all jacked up (paypal confirmation, but no limecrime confirmation, never showed an order placed on their site, etc), but they were very helpful and continued to work with me.

Yeah, that's the reason I don't buy from Lime Crime either, even though I like the colors and packaging. I don't know what you're looking for, but if you're interested in unconventional lip colors the Portland Black Lipstick Company has some that look like they could be similar to Lime Crime, like light purple, blue, mint green, and lots of others. I haven't tried them yet but I really want to, I've heard lots of good things about them.

I don't know what you're looking for, but if you're interested in unconventional lip colors the Portland Black Lipstick Company has some that look like they could be similar to Lime Crime, like light purple, blue, mint green, and lots of others. I haven't tried them yet but I really want to, I've heard lots of good things about them.

I just googled them. Metallurgy looks like it could be a dupe for Strength...

I've read so much bad and good about this brand... One lipstick is enough for me. Some companies, I just can't co sign with, but one lipstick... I think I'm okay with. It's nice to have all the info to make an informed decision though.

Great news re: your lippies! I love my Chinchilla to bits. How do you think Poisonberry compares to Violetta? In some swatches it looked quite close.

Poisonberry looked darker, warmer and more plummy than Violetta. Less pink than Violetta too. Poisonberry looked more grape too. They look very different to me. I started to get SI, but I am going to grab Poisionberry instead.

My goodies came today. Seductive Intent, nocturnal instinct, perky and revenge is sweet. I love Seductive Intent. It's not Heroine (I really wish they would bring that back), but it's close. And the shimmer in Perky is gorgeous!

Yeah that always bothered me about Lime Crime but I was still thinking about purchasing from them up until their cultural appropriation issues. Now it's an absolute no for me. I want to get some occ lip tars instead.

I really love Revenge is Sweet! It's like a jelly polish

. I did have to put on rather a lot to get the color to show up though. I can't stop staring at the gorgeous color in the tube

I absolutely LOVE Passionately Tempted blush & Night Blooming

I didn't have any issues with the texture of PT blush. It give a beautiful deepened raspberry fresh blush to the cheeks. I love how NB looks on my lips done with a very light application.
Soooo, I ordered Unconventional blush today.

I got my packages today with night blooming, nocturnal instincts and unconventional - I am very pleased with all of the items. They all suit my NC15 skin tone very nicely. Nocturnal instincts is really a surprise, such a nice color! Night blooming is a gorgeous color, not over the top bright so I think it will get a lot of wear. And, of course the mattene product is amazing. I have a few of these and was really excited that they were coming out with more in this collection. The blush is very pigmented and silky. I was least looking forward to this collection but now that i have the items I think that I like these things the most out of all the collections this year (with the exception of extra dimension of course!)

Soooo, I ordered Unconventional blush today.

I'm debating doing the same thing... By itself, I'm not completely sold on it, but I swatched it on my hand with Passionately Tempted (as if I was using Unconventional as a highlight over PT), and that, my dear specktrettes, is gorgeous.

Oh wow, I'm just reading up on the cultural appropriation issues, I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it before (I've been trying to learn more about appropriation and the like) thank you for pointing this out. Just helps to confirm my feelings that they're a company that doesn't need my support.

Oh hmm, it definitely could be! I wonder if I could find it in a store to swatch. I was also looking at their metallic gold and silver for layering purposes, for only $9 a tube I think it'd be worth it to have them around.
