MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

Yep, the finish is the reason I'm skipping RH too. I have several Retro Mattes (the Riri ones, FOF and FOD). Much as I love the colours I hardly ever reach for them. They make my lips look like they've shrunk in the wash.

im down to a third of it xD

just looks so well on me despite the sucky formula
and i dont have much issues with my lips they are rearely dry tnx to my eos addiction

I can't really say that RMs would be more difficult on me than mattes as all mattes are kind of a struggle for me (although not so much the darker, more pigmented ones). Like today I'm wearing Oxblood and at first I tried to wear it like any lippie, but soon it looked like separated milk on my lips. P&P Lip did not help much, so I had to pull out a Mineralize Lip Balm.

Needless to say I've been really enjoying the recent SATINS!

Damn, I've missed a lot these past few days xDD Thanks to all for the color stories D for Danger, Matte Royal, Men Love Mystery, Studded Kiss, and Tropic Tonic have caught my eye. Like [@]CrimsonQuill157[/@], I now have an unnecessary Instigator back-up but I'm glad to see it's permanent. Happiest to know that no matter what, this collection is going to be $0.00 (more money) spent! A toast to B2Ming :flower:

FOF is my most used as well, it's my favourite lipstick ever (with All Fired Up in a VERY close 2nd)

I find Runway Hit (and Steady Going) are not as harsh on my lips as some of the other RMs. You have to take into consideration that it's the pigments, made out of minerals, that add to dryness along with the dryness of the base formula. The darker RMs are much tougher on my lips. Nothing a day or two of Huggables can't fix, though!!!

I'm ready for this, mainly for Matte Royal. I'm thinking Instigator, Antique Velvet, Men Love Mystery, Naturally Transformed and maybe Studded Kiss (even though I said no more reds smh). The RM's I've tried have been extremely drying for me but we'll see what happens. Excited!!!
