I have Whirl & Persistence. I am NC50 & I think they both look muddy on me, even with different liners. I am on the fence about taking them back. Maybe I would feel better if this were fall, because these remind me of fall colors. Everyone looks so pretty in their lipsticks I just do not feel that way when they are on me.

I like the way Whirl is the least orange U could try Edge to Edge if you have it~ I use it to pink up many browny/greyish lippies

I tried to get that one last night, but they didn't have it. I ended up with Rosy Rim and Boldly Bare and I also got Please Me and I just now thought of maybe layering Whirl with Please Me.

The pink base should help, I absolutely love it over ABH liquid lipstick in Bambi. It takes out all the brown but leaves the dustiness

I tried that last night and it turned lavender on me.

Hahaha! NT looks a little intimidating in person and in my swatch but I know it can be worked. Me too re out of control since joining Specktra! I need to take more than several seats! I need to lay down, lmao! I have day camp to pay for for our son. It's all good until he's out of school and we have to pay for his care during the day on top of daycare for our daughter! I wanna cry! Oooh shoes and pocketbooks...my other weaknesses!

ROFL!! My fiancé always tells me, "Lay down, lady!" I did take a break from my daily hauls though, I have a birthday party to plan for my kiddo. My first order was Runway Hit and Steady Going, then last night I got Please Me, a couple l/l and Carina from ABH. I guess you can say I kinda took a seat, I was just touching it with my foot and stretching myself over to the MAC counter. Haha. I think it's safe for me to lay down for a little while though!

What did you think of DFD? I like it but I am not in love with it unless I matte it with a tissue and add Heaux to it. Lol.

Hey Vandy! Yep, that's how I feel about it too. I like it well enough but I'm not overly "WOW" about it. I think I like both FnF and SR better.

I will say I LOVE the formula for this specific color and the way it feels on the lips, though. It is very pigmented and left a good amount of stain. Reminds me more of a true matte, not the creamier mattes that MAC has been releasing in recent months.

DfD is indeed a nice color, though. I guess I'm just victim of having quite a few colors like it so it doesn't look unique to me.

Kind of reminds me of how I was when I first got Tom Ford's Black Dahlia last fall. I thought it was nice, but nothing unique. Now fast forward a few months later...HA!! I absolutely LOVE BD and have no sto the conclusion that it is the prettiest on me (along with NARS' Volga) when it comes to my family of dark purples/plums.

I *might* be interested in Persistence at a later date. It looked nice on the back of my hand when I swatched it but I'm not sure if it would look to close to my skintone and look like flesh on me. LOL! Oh, on the back of my hand it looked peachy-ish, at least to me. I know some ladies were wondering if the color was off.
