This is driving me nuts. I guess because my zodiac is Aquarius and I am obsessed with all things nautical. I gravitate towards Seahorse's, Starfish, Anchors, etc. Yeah, it's a problem.

Yeah, it's always easier during the weekday, but I'm just imaging the counters on the weekend this comes out and all the poor MA's who have to keep saying it's sold out. Hope they don't take any abuse for being the messenger.

The Marine Life powder is gorgeous, I am not going to buy it though because I would be afraid of messing it up. It does not look nearly as pretty when the overspray is removed which will happen all most immediately once you start using it. The only reason I would get this is for a collector's item and not use it, which is just a waste of money so I am going to pass. It is darling though!

Yea, I don't see it being a highlighter either! It's WAY too pigmented. I'm buying it assuming I can use it as a blush since I already have way too many highlighters! And in my collection, there's no such thing as too many blushes

Oh my goodness I have missed so many pages in just a few days. I have been so busy at work and have missed Specktra. Two days away from this place makes me sad!

I am super disappointed that In the Buff looks like a moldy avacado IMO. I was hoping it would look greener like the stock photos.
I also feel that I am being sucked into the Marine Life hype. I wasn't really digging it but now that I hear it is so popular I want it.
I really need to try my hardest to skip it.
I keep going back and forth on my list because of the great reviews and swatches from you guys. My list as of right now is:

I don't mean to enable or anything, but I think if you are on the fence about Marine Life buy one anyway and see how you like it. If you don't like it you could always return or sell it to someone here. It seems like this is going to sell out super fast. This will be one product you won't really have the time to think about b/c by the time you make your mind it'll be gone.

I was thinking about getting two of the Marine Life's too but that would be quite a bit of money when I could just spend that on the other stuff from the collec.
Cause I would HAVE to get two because I could not stand having only one, using it and ruining the pretty seahorse pattern. What a dilemma haha.
I think this would make a fantastic addition to any of your collections though!

i'm honestly thinking about getting quite a few of the marine life powders just to sell on here(at retail+tax+shipping) just for those girls who end up missing out and then can't pay a hundred bucks for a powder they REALLY want. i hate it when it happens to me so it'd be nice to help others out. does that seem wrong?

At least the good thing about currently being unemployed is that I can hop on the MAC website first thing the 25th (also being my bday, yay!), and I can camp the local free standing store the morning of the 27th
Hmm, maybe with my bday money I should get a second Marine Life...must...resist... >_<

That is very sweet of you I am sure you will be helping someone out who would of otherwise never had a chance to obtain it. I am sure there will be a frenzy on Ebay and sellers will be putting it up for over a 100.00. I hate when they do that, some of them had the audacity to put the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette up for 200.00+ for the starting price.

yeah my bf knows he has to go but he doesn't quite get it. i have my pro card as well but from past experience i can only buy 1-2 of a single thing at a time. it sucks. i use the waterproof mascara for weddings and give them out as a freebie for paying me and they cut me off saying i bought too many. lame days!
