Well I am definitely going to call my local Nordies at 10 am tomorrow morning to do a pre-order for this collection.
I have to HAVE 2 Marine Life powders. Just like a couple of you have said I just want one to keep, so I can look at the pretty design.

My list:
Marine Life (2)
Get Away Bronze
Sun Rush (I love mine from SW, looks so good mixed with foundation)
San & Sun
Firecracker
Flurry Of Fun
Float On By

Whew...Not horrible, but not good either!

For me, Marine Life is looking like what I wanted Ripe Peach to be. Which means, I'm going to have to break my May no-buy and get my hands on one. Either I'm pulling an all nighter on the 25th and waiting for it to come on the site, or I'm just gonna have to be late to work on the 27th and go to the store when it opens. This is too much for a makeup product, lol

I'm a bit afraid Marine Life will sell out before I can buy mine. I'm going to an unveiling party on the 18th, but still... What if the other people buy everything before me?

I think I'm getting a little paranoid about it.

I'm going in to see my MA today and see if I can't get a sneek peek or they might let me buy lol. I will swatch Marine Life and if I like the color I will get it if not I will live without it lol. I could have sworn I already own a Shimmermoss but I don't! I have Steamy and Blue Absiythnenene... (hell I can't spell the damn last part) so I might get one of those but I have a feeling it's already close to what I have. I just want this collection to be out already arg!

This "will Nordic get To the Beach in May or June?"-thing is getting absolutely ridiculous. The collection is shipped to counters this month along with Pret a Papier. But the orders from higher up are that they are only launching Pret a Papier on May 15, and To the beach on June 15! So it's supposed to be hidden in the drawers for a month.

I went by today and the MA's were like "We don't know what to do here, everyone thinks it's coming now, but they are telling us to not put it out for sale until next month."

They told me that they are looking into it, and that they won't know for sure until tomorrow.

If the launch schedule stays the way it looks right now, all I can say is that MAC is really screwing us over this time.

I really don't understand what's the point in delaying the release! The hype around this collection is at its highest right now and a lot of people might end up getting these from US instead of waiting for a month. I don't think that's a good sales strategy and I hope your MAs will get it released for you. Come on, it was already released in Finland too and at the same time with PaP.

Btw, did Marine Life cost €21.50 in Helsinki/Turku? I wasn't supposed to buy it but after all the swatches I'm starting to change my mind. I don't even know if there's any left though..

I wonder if Bloomingdales got in trouble for releasing this early. The whole collection is gone from the site. It does look like they are honoring orders that were placed already though. My small order is scheduled for arrival today per UPS.

I so agree with you on this. I think Ripe Peach is absolutely gorgeous, but it just doesn't do anything for me. I defintely going to get Marine Life because it looks like a winner! It will definetely work out better for our skin tone.
