I'd say if you like Sunsonic and wear it often then get Beachbound. If Sunsonic is something you rarely wear and if this colourfamily is not very dear to you then I'd say you're good with Sunsonic. There are differences between them and I know we make up geeks see them, but honestly when worn on lips the differences become less obvious sometimes.

Thanks, I love the n/p too! There's actually two: Illamasqua Jo Mina (the most beautiful violet) with Illamasqua Prism (transparent "prism" colour that flashes teal/turqoise etc. and gives the Jo Mina really cool efects) on top. These are from the new Illamasqua Body Electrics collection and I'm in love with them!

I'm glad if my swatches helped, I know I always need them when I'm waiting for a collection!

It does. I remember I kept comparing them and chose Joyous 'cause it was more pigmented. I love Joyous! I am getting marine life so that's enough for my coral cravings.

I love undercurrent but think it's way different color than float-on-by.

I wonder how Lazy Day compares to Fashion Mews l/s. I thought someone mentioned that Lazy Day looked like a pinky lavender or it had a lavender tone to it.

I was thinking that maybe I should get Marine Life. With everyone going crazy over it I had to give it a second look. Part of me says its not special but I start to think I could make a variety of colors with the two shades in the compact by mixing the 2 shades. I want to wear it as a blush.

I called my nordstroms and preordered 2 marine lifes. I can't believe it, but the ma said that they have had no preorders for this collection yet. She did say though, that they havent got their shipment in yet, but as soon as they unpack the products, there will be people asking what is that mostly because of the packaging. Glad I called now. I got 2 only because I figured, I can either have one that I wont use and one that I do use or worst comes to worst, someone who couldn't get it will have a chance of getting it while still paying the same price, not $100.

Ive been trying to figure out what I'll wear when I go to MAC to get my makeup done with this collex. I figure it should at least match the firecracker and sweet/punchy since thats what I want the MUA to try

. Oh well I have two weeks till I decide

BTW....today makes it one whole year that I have been laid off! Hard to believe a year has gone by....seems like more to me.

Please allow me to rant: I got out of work crazy early today, so I decided to call the Pro store to see if this collection was on display yet (wishful thinking, but what the hell, right?). So I called and mentoned "To The Beach" and the guy was totally confused. He had to ask someone in the background. Theeen, he said "The launch date is..." and he was just dead silent. I'm like wtf??? So I started to say "I know the collection comes out on Ma-" and he cuts me off "ONE MOMENT PLEASE!"

. More silence and then he says "it won't be out until May 27". Then he asked if I work for Mac as if that makes any damn difference. The store I go to let's everyone in (as do most pro stores, right?) so what the hell? I said fine and just ended the call. What a damn moron. First, you don't know of the collection, then you keep me on hold for 10 years and then you interrupt me when I try to help you out.

Semi related: After I got off the phone with that waste of space, I called my local Sephora to ask if they got the brand new Aqua Cream liners. After being transferred twice, I ask again and I go into detail saying THE BRAND NEW AQUA CREAMS THAT JUST HIT YOUR SITE YESTERDAY, IN THE LARGER PANS THAT COME IN AN ARRAY OF COLORS. No way they can screw up, right? WRONG. The lady tells me, yes we have them. Awesome. Tired as hell, I am excited, go to Sephora and...it's not there. Only the funky, old, SMALL aqua cream pots that only come in about 5 different colors. Adding insult to injury, I was talking to a new MUFE specialist that's there now every day, I believe. I am just too through with the uninformed.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Kinda back on topic, went to Mac asking about to the beach and if it's possible I could buy it now

. Of course the answer was no. She asked if I was taking about the preview party, but didn't actually extend an inventation to me. Doesn't matter b/c I have to pull an overnight at work anyway. Blah.

BOTH! But at least the one upstairs is less crowded. I stopped going to counters, I only go to the Flatiron store and the FS store in White Plains, I can't take it.

I feel you on your rant though, I hate when you're asking someone questions, and they don't know wtf they're talking about. And why is this MAC MA asking you if you work for MAC? SMH (s)he is in no position to give anyone the 3rd degree especially, not knowing about this collection coming up.

It was maddening! I am a pretty patient, pleasant person (at least on the outside, while I'm thinking some pretty snarky stuff), but this was just beyond being ignorant. I can't believe he asked if I worked for Mac. Still can't figure that out. And that Mufe chick at Sephora better stay far away from me. I know who she is, too. The people in that store are glad to help, but I would NEVER ask them about a product ever again.

I'm afraid Splashing may be too milky. I really didn't like English Accents at all, to be honest and Splashing doesn't look too flattering on Temptalia's site. It may be too hard to pull off with my full lips. It sucks b/c this is the gloss I had my heart set on. It's up in the air now that I've seen swatches.

However, I will be getting Flurry of Fun now. I heard there's like teal shimmer in it

! I'm also getting Fun Bathing lipstick and Marine Life (crosses fingers). Thrills is another maybe. Can't quite decide if I want such a coppery color on me. Oh and the Sun Rush lustre drops. I want this collection NOW!
