Ugh I am going to need some very good self-restraint in order to skip Marine Life...it's cute but not sure that it's soooo unique. And temptalia's claim that there's no dupe just fuels the fire. But really, who cares if it is just one off from what's out there already? I will probably end up getting it, just because the damn hype!

I remember reading an article a while back on how the Estee Lauder companies weren't going to manufacture a lot when it came to limited edition items. I know when I get like a summer trend in Clinique we only receive 3 of the item and thats it no more. It's kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

Today I wore marine life and thrills and I love them together! I don't mean to hype up marine life even more but it is a beautiful color. It's more bright than joyous and hipness which makes you look very fresh. The golden overspray dissappeared in two swipes lol! but the color underneath is awesome and still shimmery.
Thrills is perfect with a coral blush and it's so pretty in the sunlight with its golden sheen. A very summery lipstick. Not too warm or orange even on a cool-toned person like me.

it's just so silly that mac would limit things so much. sure LE collections shouldn't have massive stocks... but equally more than a handful would be nice!

I wore it on Tuesday and man it is bright one me. It wore very well on me all day and I was even running around the airport because I was late. It was still bright when I took it off, so it wore well on me for about 9h with the MF foundation and the MSFN as a base.

Ack...wore Marine Life lastnight.

I dunno if its a combination of the humidity here and my oil-prone skin, but man, this looked like a HOT MESS this morning when I finally finished work!

It separated and looks cakey, even when I took it easy applying. I dunno if its because it was my first wear and I got most of the gold in the first application, but damn...it looks kinda gross now!

IMO - wear it for photos, low-key events or even naked over your skin. To me, it doesn't wear well with humidity, sweating (ie. clubbing or out for prolonged periods in hot weather), or overtop heavier, full coverage foundation (even my MUFE Mat Velvet didn't work with it).

ALTHOUGH! hehe....It DOES look nice when you pair it with this eyeshadow combo:

-Amber Lights (all over wash up to crease, blended out)
-Hot Hot Hot (outer corner blended into middle of the eye and into the crease)
-Nocturnelle in the crease and down into the outer V extended into the lower lashline)
[Heavier/Smokey version (add Beauty Marked lightly into outer V and all over the lower lashline)]
-Provence, Brule and Vanilla as a highlight (or whatever works - I liked the yellow-white cast of these combined). You can even incorporate some of the gold and pink side of ML to this.
-I finished it off with Rimmel's Spark It Up! Eyeliner in Ultraviolet and Maybelline Lash Stiletto in black.

My face looks like a sunset! Haha.

I dunno...I'm a little disappointed. And this was all I got from the collection too.

I have been playing with my products and I really LOVE the way Temperature rising and Flurry of Fun looks on me I'm thinking of getting back ups on the tow cause I don't have nothing like it.
