This has probably been asked but is the 131 brush a LE

When I pre-ordered it, the MA said it's LE. Booo!
thmbdn.gif
It's a very nice brush. I checked on the MAC website and it's not listed there. Not sure if it might be a permanent pro store item though. Hope this helps.

I'm going to a Pro store painfully early in the morning. I'm pretty sure they have this collection, but with my luck, Marine Life will be gone. I'm glad I don't go back to work until Wednesday because this leaves me to be on a 24 hour ML watch on Mac.com

Yes, I sneak off to my phone and do a quick search. I'm glad Mac has a mobile friendly site now. With these days off, though, I can be permanently glued to my laptop. Sheer madness, I tell ya.

I loved Supermarket Sweep as well. My sister and I used to love to play it with all of my grandmother's backstock of grocery items.

We had tons of fun doing that!

I loved Supermarket Sweep as a kid! You could always tell the teams who knew what they were doing...running for the huge cheese wheels, meat, diapers and baby formula stuff!

I have a recent interest in Get Away Bronze for no reason at all, but I want it anyway. I'm fair (NW15/20), and I have no idea if I could even pull it off.

Anyone with fair skin pick this up or even try it on?

I'll be here with everyone staying up Monday night to order. The Marine Life countdown will start for me around 10pm my time with some wine!

Please post if they have it. I'm tempted to run down there as well. I was just going to order online but with all this talk of a handful at stores, I'm worried it will sell out.

I know there was talk that Macy's on 34th would have it but did anyone actually see it?

Tried it again (Marine Life) with MAC F&B this time....still looks gross & separated/cakey after 9 hours of work. But I DO agree that is has staying power - just doesn't look nice on me after a hot, sweaty humid day
ssad.gif
I'm thinking about returning it.

Sucks! I really like the bright coral side - though my Joyous BPB is enough. I just need a back-up of it!

Hi lovelies, I just got back from mac with my To The Beach goodies. I stood there for about 2 hours testing everything out and deciding on what i wanted. Here's a short review of everything I hope it's helpful:

- Beach Bronze Body Oil : I put this on as soon as I started looking at everything. It was cute, gave a very nice sheen ans sparkle on the skin. After about an hour though it made my skin feel sticky (well not sticky per-see but just like when you apply a thick moisturizer that you kind of feel it on your skin. I guess its just the oil but I hate that feeling so i skipped out on it.

- Cream bronzers : I loved the texture, these dry to a nice finish (they feel so smooth on the skin) I didn't experience the glitter bomb that others did. I generally liked them both, I picked up the Beach Bronze one (lighter of the 2) since the darker one didn't really go with my skintone. It's not orange (despite mac's discription) its more of a terracotta brown. It's pretty flattering with the pink sheen.

- Powder bronzers : The packaging is so cute. But these are permanent so I don't have much of a review. I don't own any mac bronzers so I picked up Refined Golden. It looks gorgeous in the pan. Can't wait to try it out.

- Eyeshadows : I'm a bit disappointed because my counter didn't get sweet and punchy. That was the one I really wanted, anyway I picked up Firecracker which is a gorgeous colour. Sand and sun: I felt i had comparable colours in my 88 palette so i skipped. It does look very pretty though. Humid and shimmermoss are both perm so those can wait.

- Blushes : The blushes were both gorgeous! I skipped out on them since i picked up two bronzers but i might go back for Get-Away bronze. the MA had it on and it gave her such a gorgeous glow! (btw how many times have i said gorgeous in this post?) Hipness was also pretty but I don't grab pink blushes that often so i skipped out on it.

- Glosses : I'm only going to say this once: GET FLURRY OF FUN!! This is the most beautiful gloss mac has put out in a while! yeah i said it!!. It has teal and pink shimmer in it which look amazing on the lip! Skip the other two glosses and get a back up of this baby!

- Lipsticks : Beachbound + Flurry of fun = amazing beachy lip. All the lipsticks are pretty. Fun Bathing is a dark plummy copper on me it just looked brown, I mean it was pretty just nothing special in my opinion. Thrills is gorgeous and lazy day is something you could use daily.

- Lustre drops : Repromote (they're pretty) but didn't bother picking them up since i have so many highlighters.

- Marine Life : It's LOVELY! I had my MA put it on me (I was going to buy it regardless) and it's still on and looks glowy. (i have a tinted moisturizer as a base nothing else). My counter only received 10 (1 for display) and I was there as soon as they opened along with 3 other girls waiting to pick it up. I had no problems until now with it patching or fading (reference: its 3:13 pm now and I was at the store from 9:30am)

- Lip and eye-pencil: All the MA's had the orange lip-pencil on. It's BRIGHT! but looks great. It's not an obnoxious looking orange. I didn't try out the pink one. Eye pencils: sorry didn't try them out either.

- Nail polish : Coral = Love ... Advocado green... not so much. I wanted to like the colour but it's just not pretty IMO

Hope this helps someone, I'll have swatches up later when I get a chance to play and photograph everything.

EDIT: Questions are welcome in case i missed something.

To any ladies who plan to get their Marine Life powder from the MAC counter in Dillard's at the Lakeside Mall in Meterie, LA. I called and pre-ordered my items yesterday, and the manager (Debbie) who took my order said that MAC only sent them 6 of the ML powders total. I got 3 so there's only 3 left. Pre-order your's now before they run out!

Looks like MAC only sent out a limited supply of these
