MAC - To The Beach Discussion

Yeah, I hate eBay. When I was new to MAC I bought a bunch of counterfiets. But thanks to this site, I learned. I will only buy MAC from MAc. Period.

I Know right? I usually go to bed at 10pm...Gonna have to stay up over 2 hours extra to make sure I get the marine life...I seriously don't think it will last long.

Let's all try to guess how long it will stay online...I'm guessing (and I'm being generous)...3 days.

Yea same here!!!!! I bought some pigments and shadows that were fake

ended up throwing them away. The MAC addict in me NEEDS the real thing, or nothing at all!!!!! lol
Thanks to Specktra, I can now spot the fakes! It's funny, last summer I went to this flea market place in Jersey, and a couple were selling MAC. I was loudly saying to my mom, "Fake....Fake....yup, this one is fake, too"

OMG! Me too!!!! LOL

Pigments were my first fakes - and I was PISSED because by the time I found out they were fake it was too late to do anything about it. I did get my money back from several sellers that I bought fake eyeshadow from.

But I'm with you honey - REAL or NOTHING!

I decided against FoF too. But I did get Splashing (& 2 Lazy Days)

I know it's DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! And I thought about buying it just to look at! LOL BUT, I gotta draw the line somewhere.

MAC kohls literally melt off my eyes from the time I put them on till I get to work in the morning - about a hour. I have that problem with a lot of eyeliners. I have to use Sephora's eyeliner last AND Benefit's She Laq (I layer them) to get most eyeliners to stay on, but MAC's kohls even break through that barrier.

I bought the 131 last summer when they promoted Colour Craft, but dang, I don't remember it being $40 - did I pay $40 for that brush? LOL

Placed my orders for 2 marine lifes, firecracker, lazy day, thrills, splashing, hipness, and pink rebel.

I was so excited to see marine life, that I ordered that on it's own and forgot about everything else.

Now that dreaded waiting game.
