Leftovers from Style Warriors. But I've heard that Style Warrior collection items have been at the last few...so I'd assume maybe they'd still be there this time around. Doesn't make sense to buy lustre drops with TTB for $23.50 CAD when you can get 'em from the warehouse sale for $10. If anything, ask someone for a CP and buy the ones from TTB anyways - then take 'em back if you actually get the ones from the warehouse sale

I feel silly, but what is a CP? :p

That sucks...maybe try calling their customer service number, I'm sure they could help

Beach bronze is very sheer and I don't see it replacing my bronzer (refined golden).

so if you're looking for a real bronzer with minimal shimmer and nice colour payoff i'd say you dont need it. If you want something with a lighter colour that can be used more as a highlighter and in combination with blush etc. i'd say go for it.

Except for the fact I bought Weekend, not Beach Bronze.

Would the cream bronzers be comparable to the Sun Rush lustre drops? I tend to use them as a bronze highlight with blush on top..

Yesterday, I received the backorder e-mail for the Marine Life.

Just a few minutes ago, I received this email from MAC:

Dear Valued Customer :

Thank you for your recent MAC Online order.

We are writing to inform you that MAC's To the Beach High-Light Powder-Marine Life, a limited edition item, is no longer available and we regret that we are unable to fulfill your order for this item(s). To the Beach High-Light Powder-Marine Life, has been quite popular with our customers and because of its limited availability, we are unable to obtain additional quantities. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

So I guess they won't be restocking Marine Life? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Comparable in use yes, in effect no. The cream bronzer gives a shimmer while the lustre drops give more of a sheen.

At least that's what i notice when i put on mine. Anyone have the same experience?

@yazerella

The powder bronzers are great, I think if possible it's best to go check the cream bronzers out in person. Try it on and then decide, it's one of those products that i think is really dependent on you.

I love the lustre drops. I have both from last year's Style Warriors. They are very versatile, and dry with a sheen, like BosSy said. No glitter particles in these. They are beautiful mixed with tinted moisurizer or foundation. I'm using them these days mixed with Urban decay's T.M.

Also... yazarella....
although I can't speak of the creme bronzer yet... as far as the Refined Golden bronzer, I don't know how you can go wrong with it. I have a gagillion bronzers, but this is the only one that I use on a daily basis, for either all-over bronzing, or contouring, or both.

Those of you who got order cancellations. Mind if I ask what time your order was made? My sister is starting to get worried that her order might be cancelled. She called MAC and they couldn't find her order yet it shows up online.

I agree with my buddy jenntoz! I actually thought the cream bronzer was beautiful & I loved the color & texture. But, Refind Golden is easy to apply & the color really really looks natural & it stays. So, I passed on the cream bronzer

So, its not actually a backorder email - its a cancellation email. Those are 2 different animals. If its a cancellation email - fat chance of it being restocked then
