I'm so sorry for you ladies that cancellation notices.

I feel guilty doing this but hopefully this will help you all worrying about your orders: I just got a shipped notice. I placed my order @ 5:15 CT so any of you that ordered prior to then should be okay.

Thank you guys for all the advice! I think I'll probably definitely end up getting Refined Golden powder bronzer, and I'm gonna go to my local MAC soon to see the cream bronzers in person.

I'm so shocked about ML! Very surprised that there's not gonna be any restocking. And a little annoying thinking that all those nasty little evilbay fiends probably got theirs to sell for extortionate prices.

I placed an order this morning for one ML, since there was a free shipping code. I guess I'll have to wait and see if I end up getting one after all! I'll still be going in on Thursday regardless.

I ordered mine at 7:02 PM EST on Monday. Then at 11:39 EST on Monday evening I received the backorder notice. Cancellation email came in at 4:23 today.


I have heard that Sweet and Punchy is similar to Rated R (Starflash). Is this true? Sorry if this has been asked before. If they are similiar, which one would you recommend I purchase? My local Macy's had one Rated R left so I had one of my favorite MUA's put it on hold for me.

Sand & Sun is now sold out as well. It's funny how S&S and Easy Lounger both sold out, both of them were not nearly as highly anticipated as the rest of the items from what I'd seen. And I'm so sorry for everybody that didn't manage to get Marine Life

I didn't try to order it, but it makes me sad that so many people will be reselling them on ebay for ridiculous prices. Your best bet is to try Dillards when it comes out. Dillards seems to always have tons of LE products that just don't sell very fast. They even still had Lollipop Loving up until a couple of months ago.

I ordered at 5:42 est., and have also not received a cancellation email, I haven't gotten a shipped email either but it usually doesn't say shipped until its almost here. Fingers crossed!!

This is a good point!
I waffled on the spring color forecast neutral quad. I changed my mind late in the game and decided to order. After 3 weeks, Nordstroms.com cancelled; they couldn't find the quad anywhere.
I went to Dillards.com, and ta da... it was there, in stock, and in my hot little hands within a few days.

I got this from my friend that works at Nordies...when you call for ML they put in the order and if they can't fulfill it it will be sent off to other stores until they find it. It's a totally different inventory and system than .com. So once you get your package it will have a receipt from whatever store they find it at versus the online receipt when ordering online. Hope that clears your confusion

Wow... Marine Life already sold out on the Canadian site! So happy I placed my order early this morning.

7:02pm...I plan on watching other sites like a hawk from now on. That...really...pisses...me...off. Because you know it wasn't sold out because there wasn't enough, it's because there were so many greedy bitches. GRRRR.

Geez, I can't believe this hasnt even launched in stores yet things I want are sold out. Do I really need the ML seahorse thingie? It's pretty but do I need it? I should just buy it and swap it if I no likes.
BTW i've been away from specktra for 2 weeks (super busy) and wow did this thread grow!!!

Marine Life is really bright! I'm NC44ish and I just use a 187 brush and do a super light application. I just press it onto my cheeks lightly 1 or 2 times per cheek and its there. I don't apply this like regular blush. It is vibrant. But very pretty and it lasts all day on me. It will definately show up on you.

Now I think Hipness is a maybe for you. It shows up on me but honestly I haven't used it much. It is very close to Joyous which I have as well. Hipness is about 2 shades lighter than Marine Life. If you can't get to a counter and have to order, I would say go with Marine Life.
