A lot of us here have become such great friends because of sharing our love of colors & makeup, tips etc. And, we also support each other in such a variety of other ways.

I'm with you on that one, Elegant. It's really sad how a couple of bad apples could ruin the excitement for everyone.

Which is why I love Specktra and the wonderful people I have met here. It is good to have friends to share the passion/addiction with.

I agree with you on the limiting and it probably would be hard to track.

However I think for those with pro cards really should be limited to 2. That way they can have one for their personal use and another for their kit. I think even though it is against policy that there are many people with pro cards buying multiples of items just to re-sell. Even if they do not sell them on evilbay they sell them for retail and so they still profit a large percent.

Sorry, I don't mean to tick off any pro card holders. I think most pro card holders follow the rules. But you always have a handful that abuse the system for their own gain and then a lot of retail customers get left out in the cold.

i buy more than 2 a lot of times for cps(as i am doing w/ this collection as well)

i'll only use my discount for 1, which is going to be MY marine life... because i can't give anyone my discount(as it's against the rules and i don't wanna lose it) and i'd feel horrible making money off someone like that. gimme money i'll do your makeup, then i wouldn't feel bad. but just for products i get a discount on? no.

Yes. This is why I only come on Specktra now to talk makeup. Everyone here are complete peaches and I love chatting with you all about makeup and MAC without any snarky comments or bad feelings. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Thanks!! I quickly just ran up to the Bay on Granville Street - they're not selling the collection until tomorrow but I was able to put a few things on hold, just in case anything from my online order gets cancelled. The MA who helped me said they are already almost sold out of a few things b/c of all the holds! (although he didn't say which products and I got sidetracked and forgot to ask - lol).

In person, Marine Life was more impressive than I expected, and a lot bigger! For some reason I thought it would be the same size as blushes, but it's HUGE and very pretty!

I just saw everything in person at The Bay and I'm glad I ordered Lazy Day - it is a very pretty pink, esp. with any of the new lipglasses over it. I originally passed on Float on By, although in person it is really beautiful... may have to pick that one up too!

I already have Hipness from Fafi, but I ordered it again b/c I wanted it in the new cute, green packaging. I *sorta* feel silly about that I guess, but I really love it so I'm trying not to think about it!

Okay, with all the DRAMA over Marine Life I'm no longer so set on it. I don't have anything like it, but I'm afraid that I'll regret it later because it's too bright or whatever and I'll feel guilty from taking away the experience from another MAC fiend. I'll have to test it out on my face in person to see if I really want it. I may leave MAC with only a Hipness blush tomorrow!
