I think they should stop taking so many pre-orders in stores, i realize that some people aren't really close to a counter but if you have collections launching with everything sold out, it doesn't make sense.

Agreed, some of the overspray powders (Dame Edna) in the past have not had such success. And yes, I think they should limit amounts- even maybe limiting each individual to 2 per item, but I know that would be really hard to actually control...

It's true! I mean I am guessing by releasing this product they knew what they were doing, because I can see it appealing to a wide range of people (teenagers, adults, etc- all women love a "cute" seahorse!
). Maybe they should hire a new predictor on their team

But what u have said makes a lot of sense.
I am really new to makeup and this is the first time that I have been into a collection before its official release so when ML sold out in like 2 hours on the us website I didnt know what to think. I thought maybe this was the way it was with all the popular products and I just didnt know any better lol.

Well I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were hoping to get the hype up for this collection...but at the same time, notice that the hype was coming from bloggers and people who'd seen the collection already, so MAC didn't really even need to do anything to get hype, it was all us!
Anyways welcome to the world of makeup!
