I love Specktra so much mainly because of all of you guys/gals!

I purchased firecracker today from Nordstrom today after work. Such a pretty color and I love that it is a VP. I can't wait to try it with Humid like someone suggested. I almost purchased thrills lipstick but it didn't look right on me for some reason. It came off looking really gold on me.

I am sort of glad to have a month break from MAC. All of the hype and frenzy surrounding this collection put me on a roller coaster of emotions.

Makeup shouldn't be this stressful! I just hope everyone that really wants Marine Life is able to get it. I hate for anyone to miss out.

Did you check at Bloomingdales in Downtown or Macy's in Daly City? When the Ripe Peach blush frenzy was going on, I could purchase it at those counters a couple of days after the launch.

I was able to pick up two more Marine Lifes so if anyone wants one, PM me!

I was finally able to try it on at the counter this afternoon and it is BEAUTIFUL! (although the MA put a little too much on my NC25/30 skin) I skipped Get Away Bronze and went for Trace Gold instead (from the permanent line)--- it looked really good together!

Am I missing anything special with any of the l/g? I didn't order any, and I only ordered thrills l/s (which I am dying to try on!). So now I'm wondering If I should have ordered any of them for reasons other than the pretty packaging! lol. Cuz that's how it usually goes for me.... haha.

I'M BACK FROM MY MAC STORE!!!!!! My store launched this collection today! Here is what I think about this collection!!


EYES:
Sand & Sun e/s: I like how it's pigmented and this eyeshadow would be used as a highlight for darker skintones.
Firecracker e/s: LOVES IT! It's nothing like Hot Hot Hot e/s and plus it's on it's way to me next week!
Sweet & Punchy e/s: LOVES IT!!! I have Bitter, Rated "R" and Sharp e/s and I'm glad that I ordered it online and cannot wait to get it next week!
Humid e/s: Love the color payoff!! I'm going to get this later in pan form sometime soon!
Shimmermoss e/s: already own it and I'm so going to come up with a look using this eyeshadow!
Float On By Eye Khol: This is a very interesting color! Even though I own Undercurrent p/g and it won't be used often like Undercurrent. This will be great on the waterline!
Rosemary & Thyme Eye Khol: So pretty! It reminds me somewhat of Sumptuous Olive e/s in eyeliner form! Even though tarnish green colors don't wow me much but this one did and will get this sometime soon since it's perm.

LIPS:
Beachbound l/s: So pretty and it was pigmented! I can't wait to recieve it next week to try it out!
Lazy Day l/s: I almost did get this lipstick but I decided to pass on it since it didn't stood out to me. Even though it's a unique color to own and maybe I'll order it if it doesn't sell out.
Thrills l/s: This one is gorgeous!! This would look so lovely on darker skintones as well as lighter skintones. I like the gold flecks on it and I'm trying to resist Frost lipsticks right now.
Funbathing l/s: I like this one!! If I bought this one, this will mark my second Cremesheen lipstick! I would pair this with Star Nova lustreglass!
Flurry of Fun l/g: YOU GUYS WERE SO RIGHT ABOUT THIS LIPGLASS!!! IT'S B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!! Love the teal reflects in it and boy I wanted to back this up so bad but I told myself no backups! Ever!
Easy Lounger l/g: PRETTY!!! I was so glad to order it today (thank you Audrey!) and I cannot wait to get it!
Splashing l/g: This one is pretty! I didn't see any of the pearl like it said in the description. It's more of a cream with no shimmers.
Life's A Breeze Lip Pencil: Gorgeous color and this would be so great with Lazy Day l/s!
Temperature Rising Lip Pencil: Gorgeous coral lip liner! I can see someone wearing this with Lady Danger l/s!!

FACE:
Golden Bronzer: When I swatched it, it was subtle and this might be a highlighter for my skintone and if you NC15 ladies out there wants this bronzer in the special packaging and doesn't own this bronzer, get it!
Refined Golden Bronzer: didn't swatch it and this is perm anyway.
Hipness blush: This was pretty! This will be my first Frost blush to own! When I swatched it, it looked ashy on me but when I try it on my face, I'll let you know.
Get-Away Bronze blush: this color is pretty but when I thought about Eversun bpb, I skipped this since I don't want to abandon Eversun.
Beach Bronze Cream Bronzer: didn't get to swatch it.
Weekend Cream Bronzer: same as above
Marine Life Highlight Powder:That was the first thing I saw on the display and the overspray was gone. Oh and what I did today was I called my MAC store to see if they have it in stock and they did and they had a few left so I was going to wait until tomorrow to get it but they had it out today and today...I GOT MY HANDS ON IT!!!!!!! It's gorgeous and this is my first highlight powder since I've skipped Dame Edna's and Naked Honey's. I'm like staring at it right now LOL

Bronzing Oil:
It's gorgeous! Even though this will look like it'll blend in with my skintone and will only see the flecks. For you lighter skintone ladies, if you are going to be tanning this summer, get this!!

Lustre Drops: Both Sun Rush and Pink Rebel are gorgeous but I see myself not using these since they'll be sitting in my drawer for months.

131 Brush: I own it and I'm thinking about if I should get a second one...
130 brush: didn't get to see it and will order this brush next week hopefully.

Beach Bag: It looks so cute! Even though I won't be going to the beach anytime soon and would love to go to a beach someday.

OVERALL: This collection is AMAZING!!!!! I'm trying not to overspend on this collection since I'm waiting on In The Groove Collection since it's calling me! When I left the MAC store, they were down to one Marine Life left!! I think the last one will be bought tomorrow for sure!

From all I hear and all the swatches I've seen..I think if you had to pick one, it would be flurry of fun. When I saw it, I knew I HAD to have it...and that doesn't hit me very often. Especially with lippies.

This one is definately one of the most unique l/g I have seen from MAC in a long time. I am equally excited for Easy Lounger too though, as I love sheer, sparkly gloss.

Thank you!! This confirms that maybe I should have gotten this for my Mom for her upcoming birthday! She has Star Nova and she does use lipsticks more. Yay!

there might have been a little issue like you put first name mi last name and your card just has your first and last name/vice versa or something weird like that.

little things like that they'll check on just to save your butt from fraud

Are u sure all your credit card info is right ?? this has happened to me a lot of times before but mac was so great when they their F&F sale my info was messed up and i didn't get it sort out till after the sale ended but mac was soo great they still honored.

So just give them a call and see what they say it can't be that bad
