MAC - To The Beach Discussion

Whenever I order from MAC online, they always end up delivering my package a day early or two or sometimes they deliver it so quick even though I always do Standard shipping. I'm telling you, this collection is worth it after I have skipped Prep For Colour and Superglass!

I removed the overspray from my ML with a dense blush brush (was not interested in sparkles) and then tried it on with my 188. I like it. I also love the 2 colors used separately as e/s, the pink on the inner and orange on the outer lid. Has anyone else tried it as e/s? MAC Chat just told me it hasn't been tested for eyes, but oh well...I really love Flurry of Fun. I tried that over Chanel Rouge Coco in Teheran and it's gorgeous. Needless to say I am looking very coral right about now!

On a good note, when I called MAC to see what happened, she said she can see that quality control checked my box & all my items are in there
Something is happening at the UPS hub that shouldn't be I guess.

Woo just got back from my store. The damage:

Flurry of Fun lipglass (super unique)
Sweet & Punchy e/s (because I didn't have anything like it yet)
I wanted Thrills SO BAD but I guess I'm too cool for it. It looked like I ate an orange popsicle or something. Terrible on me....so I bought the coral paint pot instead. haha.

i got mine last night!!
i was so surprised, excited!
Rosemary & Thyme - I bought for my mommy, who loves neutrals, etc. She loved how soft it was and it looks really nice on her tan skin (i'm pasty as all get out lol). It really has a golden sheen to it.
Tempature Rising - OMG, love!! i love this, it is bright but not offensive, it can be calmed down easily. my hg for the summer, i think.
Flurry of Fun - as everyone said, this is the star.. i swatched it on the black tissue paper it came in to see the tea sparkles and omg, it's amazing! i wore it with tempature rising <33
Sand & Sun - i know many here are not a fan but i am really fair and i love it. on me, it is glowy and peachy and compliments my green eyes.I am all for brights but do wear more neutrals to work usually and this is great for that. i paired it with black liner for a simple look.

I got my stuff, and I'm surprised by how much I love it! Marine Life is gorgeous, and I don't have any colors like it so I'm definitely glad that I got it. But my favorite is...
Flurry Of Fun. This is the most gorgeous lipglass, and from what I've heard from everybody it seems to work on pretty much any skintone. I haven't tried it on it's on, but over a baby pink lipliner it's stunning. I'm totally surprised that this hasn't sold out online yet.

Ok, I got to my Macy's at 9:45 and waited for them to open at 10. Once in, I was the first person at the counter and everything was still in boxes! I was shocked. But the MA (who knows me pretty well by now) asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted Marine Life, Scorcher, and Hipness. She said I got the last ML! I asked her how that was possible since I was the first person there and she said every other one was on hold. She said one person had 4 on hold. I think they should only let people hold one. Anyway, I got lucky but now I know if I really want something, I should call ahead of time to hold.

Yeah, uhm...my UPS dude looks like a mouse and I'm pretty sure he's on something. He tries to talk to me about the most random things when he makes deliveries. Last time...he asked to use my bathroom, with the reason of "well yeah I can't pop a squat in the truck, ya know?". So being totally shocked into silence, I let him. He stinks up my bathroom and slow dances (yeah, really, lol) his way back to my front door and tries to flirt with me while joking about the "stank he left in my pot"?

I really feel like Flurry of Fun is one of the most unique things I've ever seen. Almost backup-worthy for me and that's saying a lot! It's just so gorgeous over ANYTHING and even alone!

From what I learned this morning, reschedule must mean that UPS gets the package like from MAC, but then for some reason they hold onto it & don't scan it until late which delays the shipping. MAC has their manager of shipping looking into why it keeps happening.
