So....
I went to the Bay this morning when they opened (it's right near work!). I was the only one there and the display was brand new (first to swatch!). I've never been at a counter so early, never had to before, but wanted to make sure I got me another ML.
First off, they did have Marine Life, but not many. The SA opened the drawer to show me how many they had on hold. She also said she had gotten a few phone calls last night and this morning from people who wanted to have one held. One person had three on hold.
Anyway, I got me a back-up. And...
Flurry of Fun l/g. I kept going back on forth on this. The swatches on here made it look really orange, which it is, but it is also really sheer so it doesn't apply that orange and the teal shimmer
really shows up as people have mentioned. I layered it over lazy day and looooved it.
Easy Lounger, also sheer, but again, soooo pretty. It's different that the hundreds of pink glosses MAC launches, more of a pale ever so slightly peachy pink with fine light blue shimmer.
Lazy Day. When I swatched it, it reminded me of Lady Gaga more than anything else, just a touch less lavender in it I think.
Life's a Beach l/p. I really liked this, it's a mostly a straight up pink colour (as in, not too cool), not rosey as most pink liners tend to be. It's a bit darker in tone that Lazy Day and perhaps a bit more blue based as opposed to lavender. Either way, it is great to be layered with LD.
Get-Away-Bronze - soooo pretty. A nice tan colour, reminds me a bit of BB's Summer Tan cream blush except with shimmer. Doesn't look like it'll go orangey on me, the swatches on my monitor did make it look more orangey, but it didn't swatch that way on my hand.
Golden Bronzer, for the packaging!
Firecracker e/s - definitely looks a bit more pink in the pan, swatches a bright coral colour. Happy it didn't swatch too orange!
And finally, one I had no intention of getting... Sand & Sun. When I first tried swatching it, it was invisible. The SA thought so too and was perplexed! She scraped it down with a q-tip because she felt that there was something wrong with the top layer. She was right! Once we got past the surface, it swatched (with the q-tip) true to the colour in the pan. A pastel peach shade, super pretty with Firecracker.
DH will be picking up Hipness for me, I'm getting another one only for the packaging, ya, sad I know!
Overall, this collection made me so happy!
Loved the packaging and loved the colours! The bag is really cute too, but I just can't splurge on that given how much I spent. I was also upset that i wasn't allowed to b2m for anything, because I'm pretty sure we should be allowed to, but whatever. I'll save it for something else, but I think I'm good with MAC now for a very long time!
Wanted to also get another 131, it's my favourite cheek brush, but i'll have to wait for the next time it comes out!

I think someone else may have mentioned this, but X-Rocks is a plum colour. GAB is bronze, not pinky or orangey, just bronze.

I don't even remember seeing it in store.

That and Dress Camp both sold out super fast on line. Marine Life sold out just as quick on the Canadian website, which is rare for a collection that is actually available everywhere.

I wouldn't bother backing up Hipness. It's nice, I love it and have the one from Fafi, but as you mentioned, the other colours are similar enough that you'll be fine for a while!
