elegant-one and Winthrop44, how do you find Hipness? Is it chalky and is the colour pay-off good? Does it turn orange on your cheeks?

the payoff of hipness is very very good! i don't find it chalky at all. and i'm nc20 and i have to use a light hand so that it'snot too orangey or in your face. the 129 brush works well with this blush on me!

I'm not either of the two that you're asking, but Hipness is pretty much my all-time fav blush because of the color, and I'm Asian NC25 skintone. It doesn't turn very orange, but just gives the awesomest pinky-peach color. It's like the sheer version of Fleur Power to me, which makes it very wearable, though I don't think it's chalky.

I don't need another one, but this is definitely worth checking out!

I love this.. I think it is going to rank right up there with Neo-Sci-fi for a summer collection. I want the cream bronzers, the lippies, e/s and of course a back-up of #130 and finally getting the #131. I will be skipping all the April collections until this one, that is a long time, But I must shop my stash.

This Packaging Ho is excited. Products are important but if you combine cute packaging and good products, I am yours for life.

Can't add much to what others have already said. It is very pretty & I have no problems with it. I recently did a big purge and kept it, if that helps.

I guess the only thing is that if you have Joyous you might not need it? I kept Hipness over Joyous because my sensitive skin unfortunately doesn't do very well with the BPBs. There's a great comparison pic (in pots) between the two on MUA, just scroll all the way down here:

This collection, as far as the May two parter goes, is always either hit or miss. This year well be a miss!! LOL! At this point, one lipstick, maybe a lipglass and a lip pencil. Maybe even one eyeshadow but, I will have to see swatches.

I had hipness before I stupidly sold it. I am SO excited that it's coming back. It's one of only a few things I regret selling. Coral/Peach blushes tend to go orange on me very easily, but I had no problems with Hipness. There is some pink in it. I found a FOTD that I posted wearing it.

This has probably been asked before (I tried doing a search for it but couldn't find anything - and also there wasn't a review for this in the MAC reviews subforum) but what is so awesome about the 131 short duo powder fiber brush?

How do you use it ? If I had I think I would use it to highligh my upper cheeks with a luminizer/msf, but what esle is this brush genereally used for?

it's really pretty and i think i do want to buy it

No, absolutely no chalky texture. Its more of a pink toned light coral. Its not heavily pigmented nor is it sheer. Depending on the brush you use, you should be able to get decent color. Its one of those blushes that makes your skin/face look good - not wow look at that blush

If I remember correctly, when it first launched most people really loved it.

Hipness is my fav! I bought a back up of it and stupid me sold it! lol Oh well maybe I can get it in this collection with different packaging. It such an awesome color. I fell in love with it at first sight and wore it all the time. It has a nice pink -coral flush to it. Awesome for summer!
