Okay ladies, I saw this collection today!
Here's my thoughts on the products:
Lipsticks:
I b2m
Beach Bound. It is a very pale peach colour with glaze finish so it is sheer. I haven't tried it on lips yet. It is paler and a tiny bit cooler than Pleasureseeker from Neo-Scifi. In fact, if you layer Front Lit from last fall on top of Pleasureseeker you get close to Beach Bound.
The one that hasn't got much attention is
Fun Bathing. This colour is beautiful! It has the prettiest plum cast to it. Ladies with deeper skin tones definately check this out, this is stunning! This is the one I recommend the most from the lipsticks! I might have to check it out later again.
Lipglasses:
I am very confused with
Splashing. It suppose to have gold pearl in it, but when I swatched it, it has no sparkle/pearl at all, it was creamy. It reminded me of English Accents (EA being a bit cooler and more lavender, this was more straight pink). For now, I didn't get it, but I'll consider it later.
I thought I would get
Easy Lounger, but I was not unique enough for me with a million light pink glosses to get. It was nice but not something I expected or to be wowed by.
Flurry of Fun...
Now there's your unique gloss! It has the most beautiful iridescent shimmer to it, it looks like green sparkle on hand, but on tube it looked like violet/blue. The base colour is light peach. I think this would look wonderful with Beach Bound. I must soon try it on lips.
Note: I tested it again on hand and you can see the blue shimmer there also, not just on tube!
Eyeshadows:
I bought only
Sand and Sun. It is just what the description is, a light matte peach. It will go well in the summer with pinks, corals, golds, purples etc. The pigmentation was very good, this wasn't a chalky matte at all!
I compared it to Samoa Silk and Sand and Sun is more pinky peach where Samoa Silk is more yellow/orangy peach. There are about the same otherwise (as light, pigmentation etc.).
Firecracker surprised me in a good way! It has a orangey base to it with PINK GLOW!! I don't know if it's supposed to be a duochrome but it sure looked like one on my hand. Beautiful! I almost got it, but then I told myself I wouldn't use it enough and it might make me look a bit ill. But on hand it was very pretty. I compared it to Hot Hot Hot, Paradisco and Expensive Pink. HHH is more red and doesn't have that sheen to it. Paradisco is very similar but it is lighter and has a bit of a goldish sheen where Firecracker had the pink. Expensive pink is more bronzey and muted.
Sweet and Punchy was just like Rated R, so I didn't get it. It is a very very pretty colour for those that don't already have bunch of bright yellowgreens. Texture is smooth and superpigmented.
Bronzers:
Refined Golden is too dark for my skintone (NC15),
Golden was better. The
Beach Bronze cream bronzer is very shimmery and this is better for light to medium skintones as the
Weekend is quite deep in colour and also coppery (and less shimmery if I remember right?). These were creamy and smooth, nice texture.
I got the
bronze body oil. It felt a bit weird on hand, but I'm hoping it will be better on my legs. It has the faintest touch of tan colour, but even on my fair skin is was extremely subtle. It adds golden shimmer to the skin. I hope it won't transfer to clothes, but that remains to be seen when summer comes.
I already got the Sun Rush lustre drops from Style Warriors. I will add it to my moisturizer and try it on my legs and shoulders too this summer.
Eye Kohls:
I skipped
Rosemary and Thyme because I have Stash by Urban Decay and I felt these were very close.
Float On By was very pretty and I might go buy that later. First I thought I don't need it because I have the turqoise liner from Mac makeup art cosmetics collection last fall, but like a true addict I convinced myself I might afterall need it. Sure it is darker and it is teal not turqoise. Yeah...
It reminded me of Teal p/g and Parrot e/s. Okay okay I'll get it soon!
They didn't have the lipliners!
I was excited to see Life's a Breeze but I have to wait. Also they lacked the blushes and the nailpolishes so I cannot comment about them either.
I hope this was helpful to some of you!
