Thanks for the review QueenofSnark! The cream bronzers and Marine Life have made it back onto my maybe list. I'm in trouble I just added up everything I might get and it's a little over $200 even with my 3 sets of empties for B2M. Yikes, I'm in trouble!

Temperature Rising is an awesome coral-orange that I can't wait to try under Thrills and Fresh Salmon. Despite what I've heard the two eye kohls stayed pretty put, so they're back on my list. If you're a bronze babe like me, though, you'll need to swipe Rosemary & Thyme twice--it sinks into (warm-toned) skin pretty easily. I'll try to go in again later this week and see if I can sneak out some swatch pics. I just realized I got so excited I completely forgot about the eyeshadows--oops! On a random, unrelated note: Girl About Town l/s + Totally Bang! superglass = OMG. GET IT.

I wonder if this would be the case for NC50. I need to stay out of here. Ya'll are wearing down my steely resolve. I'm now obsessed with bronzers.

I love that guy.

Temperature Rising looks good, but I have no use for it. I already have an obnoxiously bright liner from MUFE and I don't wear it much. I saw this video a few days ago and I forgot this made me sure I didn't want Thrills. Temptalia almost changed my mind.

I was just giving bronzers a thought, but I'm just not sure I'd like it. I'm all about lightening up my complexion. I want to glow and brighten up. Nars Lovejoy blush is pretty close to a bronzer on me and I think it's perfect so, meh.

I really can't believe all I have on my mind now is the Lustre Drops. I've decided to get Sun Rush. Something tells me, though, if I go see this in person, I will flip and buy way too much. I swear I'm not myself when I walk into Mac and there's a new collection. It's like I catch the ghost or something

. Maybe I can avoid a Mac store while this collection is out (riiiight).

Hi everyone - I haven't been on the forum for a long time because I've been sadly too broke to buy much in the way of makeup over the last bit. I've been swapping some stuff for new things, but haven't been too too up to date in the MAC dept. But I digress... today I was checking my email and I got an invite to my store's launch party! I've never been invited to one before. What should I expect? Like I said, I'm broke so I can't buy much if anything but I'd love to go to the event, is there any sort of purchase expectation? Before I RSVP, I want to know what happens there. Canapes and cocktails? Do people dress up?

Welcome back, first of all. No, there is no purchase expectation whatsoever. There isn't a dress code, either. So feel free to just go and play.

Hey, do you think Sweet & Punchy would work well with purples?? I have no green colors like this in my collection, and I'm trying to see how I could make it work - I don't want to buy it and not use it...

Right now my list includes:

-One or more of the lipglasses (I want to swatch them in person first)
-Hipness
-Either Refined Golden or Weekend (I'm afraid Weekend will be too orange...and RG has more product but I could get it anytime...I dunno what to do with that either)
-Sweet & Punchy (if I can figure out how to work it into looks)

I can't wait to see this in person!!

Since I'm "high yellow" (hehe) my MA suggested Sun Rush. Pink Rebel came out pretty icy on my skin, whereas Sun Rush warmed me up nicely.

I don't see why not, since you're only a shade or two lighter than me. However, I think Beach Bronze might be too light for you to use as a highlighter. I'd swatch to make sure. :3

How pretty do Shimmermoss and Sweet & Punchy look beside each other?? I'm more of a neutral girl, but I think those look fab together.

I think that swatch changed my mind on Hipness, and that I can skip it now. I already have Dainty and Instant Chic, and I'm going to go for Stereo Rose.

I'm going for Firecracker, Sweet & Punchy, Float on By and Life's A Breeze

Also, going to pick up Thrills for my Mama ... because I think she'd love it

I kept thinking I should skip Get Away Bronze and now I can after those swatches from Erine. Get Away Bronze reminds me of Cheeky Bronze. I have to swatch it to be sure though. There is only 2 things left on my list Hipness Blush and Lazy Day l/s.

After these new swatches I am kind of thinking I might not like Hipness.

I think I will get funbathing now

. I was curious about that color. I still wish I could get a good look at marine life. The shadows still don't impress me and the more I see of Hipness, the less I like it.

So now it's Splashing lip glass, funbathing lipstick, and Sun Rush lustre drops with Marine Life kinda up in the air, leaning more towards skip.
