SUN! We got sun today!!
I posted swatches to the swatch thread!
I have to say that this might be the most dissapointing Mac collection for me so far.
I didn't realize until I swatched Sand&Sun that it is so close to Coral Pro and Peppier (peppier of course being in different finish, but still). Also Beach Bound is so close to Front Lit, which I never use.
And guess what, I tried FOA as a base today on top of painterly p/p and it creased within two hours!!!
Never has that happened before with an eyeliner as a base! I'm so dissapointed with my purchases. If I was in States, I would return everything except maybe Flurry Of Fun (that is so nice in colour, but the texture is a bit goopy). But now I'm stuck with stuff I don't think I'll use. ARGH! I'm so rarely dissapointed with my Mac hauls. This time NONE of the products please me enough for me to say that it was justified to buy them. The body oil seemed nice but again it is so subtle that I doubt if it'll do any good. Oh my what a rant I'm giving..

I really might skip FOB, nothing on me ever creased or smudged, but when you say it did on it might on me. Really too bad

From the swatches, Front Lit seems more on the golden side, while Beach Bound seems like it has more of a bronze/orange tint to it. Is that how it seems in person? I have Front Lit, and love it! But I don't want to get Beach Bound if they are almost dupes

I don't like all of this news of FOB creasing and smudging
If it looks just like parrot e/s as a liner, maybe I should just USE parrot as a liner and skip FOB. In the Florida heat and humidity, the last thing I need is runny makeup. It is SO pretty though! UGH

I was so surprised to see the creasing! I don't remember anything so far that creased on me (if you don't count wearing shadows without a primer/base for 17 hours and then creasing...
) so it sucked to find out this one did.

Like I wrote earlier, if you layer Pleasureseeker and Front Lit, you come very close to Beach Bound.

True, Beach Bound is slightly more peach than Front Lit, but I doubt that it would make a huge difference on lips, especially if they're pigmented.

I bought the cream bronzer in Beach Bronze and it's lovely. I really like it. It applies very smoothly and it is very easy to build up. The shimmer is more subtle than I thought it would be.
I also got Life's a Breeze which is a lovely pink.
I didn't bother with Marine Life. I went to my local MAC counter the day it was released and the overspray had already gone from people swatching it.
I didn't buy Hipness but after seeing the swatches online again, I think I might go back and buy it.
