At first I wanted thrills but now I think I want fun bathing instead. It doesn't appeal to me in the tube but in swatches its soo pretty!

Hi everyone! I just got back from my pro store with loot from this collection! I wasn't able to see Marine Life as the displayer was missing and it was already out of stock, but I'm quite happy I didn't see it though. At least I wouldn't have spent money on something that just looks pretty, that I probably have colour dupes for in my collection.

Overall, I thought this collection was lovely. There are a lot of wearable colours. Here's what I got:

Lazy Day lipstick - Though not unique, I thought this was the most wearable out of all of them. I also wanted to have a lippie that was specially packaged so I got it. I already have Thrills, which is permanent. I skipped Beachbound because its similar to Sunsonic, which i have but never use.

Life's a breeze lip pencil - I've been waiting for a light blue pink lip pencil from MAC for quite a long time, and I'm happy to finally have The One. When I picked it up however, I did notice that it was a lot shorter than the normal lip pencils - about 1 inch shorter- however these new pencils and the old ones weigh 1.5g. Quite strange.

Sun Rush lustre drops - Gorgeous golden shimmer. I'm looking forward to wearing a few drops of this with tinted moisturiser or liquid foundation!

Get Away Bronze blusher - Such a pretty bronze colour. When I saw swatches online, I thought this looked way too shimmer and I was ready to skip it, but in person its actually not as shimmery as that (imo). Its a beautiful colour!

Beach Bronze cream blush - Lighter of the two cream blushes, but I noticed that this one seemed to have more shimmers than Weekend. Very buildable, and easy to blend. Cream to powder finish!

Sand and Sun eyeshadow - Oh my. It is nothing like Tete a Tint or Samoa Silk! It is definitely peachier. It has the Instant Chic-feel. The colour itself looks glowy, although it is a matte. I don't know why other people with similar skin tone to me thought this was unpigmented. I would say it was decently pigmented, not unpigmented to say the least! Tete a tint is a LOT more brown, and Samoa Silk is a lot more yellow.

Firecracker eyeshadow- I don't know if I'm ever going to use this (I probably will though

), it looks quite intimidating. But I bought it because it was beautiful. I honestly thought this colour was very unique. Its a reddish-coral but it seems to have a pinkish duochrome to it. A lovely colour

So that's my review of the stuff I got! Hope this was helpful!

i went to see marine life today, its not very special in my opinion, i'm glad i waited to see it in person, once the overspray was gone, it was like a less pigmented not as nice hipness with more sheen

when i used sand and sun today it was very pigmented, it almost had a luminous look to it, and it is odd, when i tried to swatch it on my hand from my finger, it would not come off my finger, but when i used a brush it applied like a dream, it seemed to stick to the oils on my finger, and did not want to transfer, but with a brush, it was gorgeous

i also find the colour very bright on my skin tone

This collection doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, but still, I wanted to ask what exactly are lustre drops supposed to do?

Ok is anybody in Canada or the US TERRIFIED that Marine Life will be sold out by the time you get online or to a store??? I'm scared i'm going to miss it!

I am! I'm in Canada, and the only way I can get MAC is by buying it from their website. I'm crossing my fingers this collection won't sell out before I get anything

I may have to look into Sand and Sun and Firecracker e/s! Totally not planning on these, but maybe if I can b2m... I bet these two would look amazing together and with a nice dark brown to define the outer v.

For those of you interested in the lustre drops, I went to a CCO last week and they had both of them! If you want to save some $$$ definitely go check out your nearest CCO and see if they have them in stock! My CCO had a TON of them!

I'm planning to get Sun Rush!

I don't know what I am, but I'm wanting Pink Rebel as a [cheek] highlighter

On another note... For the ladies in Germany, isn't it a bit humorous that the marine life highlight powder is cheaper than the blushes online?

I don't think i'll ever really understand how mac in Germany, France and the Netherlands come up with these prices :S It's usually overpriced and with certain items being strangely under priced.

I received my purchases yesterday!

Had planned to go to the Pro store today to see Get Away Bronze Blush in person [wanted to try b4 I buy] but trying to be good and not spend MORE money.

Anyhows, as for what I bought online and received.....

E/S: Firecracker - Very cute and unusual.
E/S: Sweet & Punchy - very limey, I like!

Blush: Hipness - Imagine, I have yet to swatch/try this, I am not sure if I love it yet...of course swatching would help lol.

L/G: Flurry Of Fun - Wow, I love, love, love this colour....very tempted to by a back up or two!!
