I think there are better choices. Do you have Redhead MSF? Those two go well together.

Got my order today and all the blushes are nice......even PC, which is not gonna work. It us a tad chalky on my skintone(figured it would be but wanted to try it). MM, PP and Magenta are lovely. LC gives me a surprisingly natural glow. FoJ will make a nice highlighter....may even try as a blush mixed with another purple based blush.

I want MM and PP for sure, but I will make sure to go in and check out FoJ, and LC. And yea I figured Pink Cult would look chalky. Thank you !

i think liba may have mentioned that it's very similar in colour to the light side of the mighty aphrodite a little earlier in this thread...

Oh Wow! A Marine Life Depot. I've never seen that before. You are a brave soul. I think its time to put ML back into rotation.

I'm rethinking Peony Petal. Should I order 1 thing online or try in store tomorrow? Decisions, decisions.

And I should put Joie-De-Vivre back into rotation, too. I wore it today, and it was unbelievably gorgeous. There are so many blushes I like, but those two, Marine Life and Joie-De-Vivre are just amazing!

I just tried the 3 blushes I got: MM, IF and LC. IF was the one I was worried about. Thankfully, it did show up on me. It will look nice when I want a light peach cheek with strong lip or eye. Modern Mandarin was not too bright but was a soft look but I did use a 131 brush. I like it but I don't know if its the end all peachy color. I need to compare it to my other bazillion peachy coral colors like Peaches, Style, Marine Life, Ripe Peach Ombre, Hipness, and more. Oh boy I have too many blushes. My blush drawer is overflowing again so that I can't close it.

Great minds think alike I was thinking, I tan a lot in summer using fake tan so even though it may not suit me at my palest, it might once I'm all fake baked up lol

That's a good combo. I like to coordinate the contour powder with the blush (and the highlighter).

I'm going to post this question on this thread as well, even though the products were not from this collection. Hoping maybe someone can help me with this.
This has never happened to me. One of the orders I placed was for Whisper of Gilt and Warm thunder. MAC sent me another Superb and a lightscapade. I called them, and they're suppose to send me the correct items. She told me I could use the shipping label to mail the wrong items back. I don't need them because I ordered Superb in another order, and I already own lightscapade. Will they destroy these if I send them back? Kinda would rather see them go to a good home instead of being destroyed. Will they also hold on to the items I should have gotten until these are returned? In 6 years, this has never happened!

I ordered and received all of the Tres Cheek blushes today! (To stay on topic) I'm about NW 15-20 and Modern Mandarin scares me. Hopefully it'll look good on me!

Sorry to hijack but you seem to make great recommendations for products with regards to highlight/contour suggestions. Do you have any hard and fast rules for contour/highlight for nc20 skin, with my colouring (I'm black to icy blonde like my icon lol)? And do you have any good recommendations for go to contour shades? Kinda like an intro to MAC contour and highlight? I would be super pleased if you could, thank you

IMO, the best ones are still the sculpt and shape powders. "Sculpt" might be the best shade for you (maybe Bone Beige during the winter). I like to add some "Shadowy" for a more dramatic look in the evening. If you don't want to order from the Pro store, you might want to try Harmony, though it can be a touch too pink on NC skin.

Re highlighter: it really depends what blush you use. I use different highlighters for different blushes. Today I use "Soft Focus" (from the shape powder) mixed with Elude as highlighter, Immortal Flower as a blush, and a mix of Shadester mixed with Bone Beige (from the sculpt powders). To add some warmth, I use Gold-Go-Lightlightly Careblend topped with Flower Fantasy Pearlmatte for sheen. It's a lovely, very natural combination - and perfect for this sunny day on the East Coast.

My order just arrived. I ordered 2 lipsticks and 4 of the new blushes in this order.... The two lipsticks have arrived but I haven't been sent ANY of the blushes I ordered despite them still being in stock in the UK. On hold to mac now....I'm so not happy right now!!!!
