That's what I thought, too. I think this is last year's stock they're trying to get rid of by selling it online to those of us who wouldn't have access unless we were traveling. They can get full price for the sale of these palettes/sets by releasing them online rather than sending them to CCOs.

I think you are right. That could explain why the warm palette and some other items are missing from this collections, as they have probably already sold out in airports, and the use of the same picture as last year's.

I also got confused at first, cos promo images for 2010's Mac Trip collection are for different items. You'll find them here:

The only thing I've found so far is on MAC's site a the bottom left "lFind a store or event". If you enter a city or zip it will list a Duty Free Store if there's one there. I know there's one in Los Angeles so I entered it and it showed the "duty free store"

I don't think there is a list with all Duty Freeshops worldwide which sell MAC already. But I will search and post if I find it.

I tried to get a list from MAC but they just told me that MAC is available at every airport. Which it is clearly not.

Airports I know of are London (I think all), Munich and Zurich.
Airports that do not have MAC are Geneva, Brussels, Lisbon.

I want the cool eye palette so bad, but only because of Waternymph and Springtime Skipper. Hmm...maybe I will just wait for MAC to rerelease so I can buy them individually. I'm just not a big fan of palettes. Hopefully they rerelease them soon!!

Frankfurt airport has a MAC now.

JFK in NY and Amsterdam have not.

i really love these palettes. winnie was kind enough to do a CP for me last year.

the face ones seem to be the best deal, imo! too bad they don't have the classic face one because that one is one of my favorites.

the lip cases are really really cute in person too -- great to reuse and put your own stuff in there.

i'm surprised they don't have the warm eye and the cool lips though. i thought the warm one ended up at CCO not too long ago?

I'm pretty sure I saw the 2010 sets a few weeks ago at Copenhagen airport. They also had about 4 different Look Boxes (I can't remember what they were, but I think they were different from the Xmas sets).

Yeah, Amsterdam has pretty boring and expensive stuff IMO. I always do the shopping at London airport, when going back.
Although that was in my pre-Mac period

Now that u mention it, yes..I've seen some of the eye palettes/lip bags/lip palettes at the CCO at the end of last year. However, still didn't see the warm palette or the dazzleglass sets.
