MAC Tropical Taboo Collection (2013)

Everything looks so cool! I'm almost sure I want Simmer m/b and Adored msf, maybe Adored msf and/or Rio msf. That's it. I hope.

Anyone know if the MSFs will be the same texture as Heavenly Creatures? If so, that makes it an easy skip for me. Those were too glittery for my taste and I've been gradually selling those off. I prefer the texture of the EDSFs. I know! I bought them all and I haven't even used them. Just so gritty and glittery. I hate wasted MAC money

I do, too. But I either battle buyer's remorse of skipper's and usually the latter that has more impact on me.

I've already gotten rid of my Earthshine backup and Star Wonder. I put CoTU in my sale and will probably do the same for my swatched Earthshine, which I really wanted to love but it's not working out like I wanted. I haven't used my HC blushes at all but sold my backups of those. I think I will try Supernova first and see if I like it.

I'm looking at Rio MSF and perhaps Japanese Spring Cremesheen. Adored MSF has peeked my interest lately as well so we'll just have to see about that one.

Japanese Spring is very nice. There are similar colors in the perm line, but JS has this really nice, sophisticated grey undertone that is very flattering and great for neutralizing pigmented lips. I love mine.

So maybe I'm crazy but I'm thinking of skipping this whole collection. My sons birthday is July and I know I go crazy for fall collections lol Have you guys seen that cable commercial where they're being robbed and its happening RIGHT in front of them!? That's YOU MAC!!!! Lol

I'm sorry Earthshine didn't work out for you That's the only thing I picked up in that collection last year, so I don't know how the others feel. I agree that up close you can see the glitter, but at night or in the afternoon, it is a gorgeous bronzy glow.

Haha, I actually have a gray coat that I always call my Inspector Gadget coat, because it looks like his. Maybe I should put a MAC logo on it.

I'd love to get a BU of the 159 too, but unfortunately I'm not made of money, lol. I guess it will be around 50 Euro here, so that plus all the mineralize stuff will have my wallet crying already. But I'm glad I can skip the lip stuff.
I especially love the promo pics of Exotic Ember and Dare to Bare. Can't wait for swatches of those! I really hope all the mieralize products won't have these shimmer particels that migrate everywhere, like Amber Glow MB or Silver Birch MES. I have to admit that I never wear those and probably should have skipped. Although I LOVE the base colour of SB, but I can't deal with the shimmer. My list will shrink significantly if

I was told it's a smaller version of the 131.

Most likely.

I personally don' t think that they are (too) close.Adored is decribed asCoral with light beige pearlized pigments whereas Light Year is decribed as Peachy pink with gold shimmer. Same for Lust -> Pale pink with cranberry pearlized pigments vs. Star Wonder -> Plummy pink with multi-dimensional pearl

Adored for highlight or lust for blush (possibly).
