Heard through the grapevine that it's going to be perm...but don't hold me to that!Forgive me, but is the 159 LE?
And she's lit from different directions with different colored lights, rose from her right, green left, and blue in front and lower, to augment the colorfulness.
ThanksJune 27th, a wk before it releases in stores
That would be great!Heard through the grapevine that it's going to be perm...but don't hold me to that!
As long as it isn't a Vajazzler...BTW... don't google image search Fever Isle. lol
Uh oh. Is this another Razzledazzler?
Oooo, i like lavenders with a grey undertone. Is Japanese Spring actually lavender-ish? The MAC description says it's "Pale mid-tone pink".come on MAC, us purple lovers need a true blue-violet in lippies, liners (both lip and eye), shadows, blushes, etc. Where is the love?
I think if we're going to see a more blue purple, it'd come in the winter or maybe fall. Maybe a blue purple will be this year's Firm Form!!!
I wish! I actually backed up Firm Form !
But to be practical and realistic, i think some of the problem of getting true blue-violet lip products is getting blues that are lip-safe, since most blue pigments aren't.
Quote: Japanese Spring is very nice. There are similar colors in the perm line, but JS has this really nice, sophisticated grey undertone that is very flattering and great for neutralizing pigmented lips. I love mine.
Is that really why? I always thought red dyes were bad? But maybe that's just in foods lol I don't think Lipstick is exactly "safe" since it has low amounts of lead and what not. I would still rock a hazardous blue purple LOL jkI wish! I actually backed up Firm Form ! Well, everything is GORGEOUS, as I feared. But the MSFs look a little dark for me. That's probably good, as I have way too many MSFs anyway. Those eyeshadows would be worth it just to stare at...
The Simmer Blush looks really cool. LOVE the color combination, and can't wait for swatches! I have a mineralize blush (Two Virtues) that I almost never use, though...
Generally speaking, red dyes can cause irritation on the eyes, and blue may cause a reaction on the lips. This is why so many red/bright pink pigments are not recommended for use on the eyes, and why many blue/purple pigments are not recommended for use on the lips. That being said, many people use pigments in the "not recommended" ways anyway. It's really just a matter of what you're comfortable with. If you've never had a reaction to red dyes and want to try Magenta Madness on your eyes, go for it. But I would suggest doing it when you don't have to be anyplace for an extended period of time that day, so that if you DO have a reaction, you can remove the product immediately. MAC really doesn't educate their customers or their artists in pigment safety, so you kind of have to take the initiative yourself. All "not recommended for eye/lip use" really means is that the product hasn't necessarily been tested for use in the way that is not recommended, so if you do have a reaction to it, MAC takes no responsibility for it. Personally, I don't use any product in a way that is not recommended...but sometimes it is tempting, lol.Is that really why? I always thought red dyes were bad?
