I looked at swatches etc and my excitement for this collection just decreased. Most of the collection seems dupeable, which is a shame.

I want nothing from Cruella's part of the collection.

I mostly want stuff from the Evil Queen:
-Toxic Tale lipstick (i want to see a side by side swatch of it and vegas volt)
-Strange Potion lipglass (also want a side by side swatch of it and pink lemonade)
-Bite of an apple blush

I am on the fence about the MES's in the Maleficient part of the collection.

I am intrigued about the cool liquid powder from Dr.Facilier.

That's it

i am very underwhelmed by this collection. I feel that MAC could've done SO much better.

Just saw the Temptalia's swatches. I didn't have any list before seeing the swatches, because the colors never turn out to be what I imagine them to be

Here's my list.
Truth & Light Magically Cool Liquid Powder (Facilier)
Either Her Own Devices BP (Cruella) or Oh So Fair BP (Evil Queen) depending on which one turns out to look better on me.
Dark Deed l/s (Maleficent) and Innocence, beware! l/s (Cruella). These I'll have to see IRL, because I've never really liked Temptalia's lip product swathes. They always seem somehow wrong to me.

I also liked most of the lip glosses and the lip gelee, but I rarely use l/g so I better stay away of those.

Just seen Temptalia's Reviews and swatches and this has really helped me narrow down my list, cause I wanted everything lol .

My Final List
Hot House l/g
Strange Potion l/g
Bite of an Apple Blush
My Dark Magic MES
Briar Rose b/p
All the nail lacquers

That is all I am buying and is right within my budget woohoo

Doesn't it suck!!!? I want the Tower of boxes!!!

Here's assuming the packaging WILL have the sketches on the outside packaging.

My list remains unchanged I think.

What does everyone think about having to pay a bit extra just because its Disney? Does it bother you does it not or are you indifferent because you like the products so much?

It bothers me because I don't really like Disney in general... With a few exceptions.

the only thing that really interests me in this collection is toxic tale lipstick. the packaging is way too tacky for me. via temptalia, the mineralize eyeshadows look really cool, but i have a few and never reach for them.

Yeah, dark or sheer lip swatches from her never look quite right to me either, at least compared to when I try them myself. Probably it's her very pale lips?

I do like that she's willing to do full face shots for lip and blush swatches. That's a lot of heavy lifting.

Erin's swatches are still the most consistently accurate color-wise!

I hope it's not the beginning of a trend for all special packaging, although I guess I could hardly blame them strictly from a $$$ perspective.

Now I've 3 lists, depending on the budget that I'll have for this collection

I want almost everything from the Evil Queen, and the MES from Maleficent. Heartless looks interesting, but my first true red lipstick will not have such ugly packaging lol

And I really really want those pop-up boxes! They're so cool!

I am loving all 3 polishes especially mean and green!! I can't wait for those especially since Ive never seen Orly brand in Canada.

I love Toxic Tale, I think it will look gorgeous with Bite of an Apple. Although it does remind me a bit of Made with love lipstick but toxic tale looks more red. Is it similar to made with love if anyone knows?
