I want this collection to be released soon too. I haven't really been excited about anything MAC in a loooooong time and hoping this collection will do it for me.

I might not even get a lot in the end but I do want a couple of things coz I always hoped they'd do a Disney collection.

Let me see if I have this straight..Susanne posted dupes for this collection, so Toxic Tale is Cyndi? And VV was close to Fig 1? I never had the desire to pick up Fig 1, so wondering if that should come off my list

Also wanted to add that I just put Strawberry Blonde on top of Cyndi..a pretty muted red but not in your face

I am going to try it with CoC next.

I just invited myself to the launch party, but it's on Friday - October 1st so I'm scared stuff will be sold out by then. I've only been to the launch party for To The Beach and I swear that was before the collection was actually released. Should I just plan to order everything I want online and just go to the party for fun? I wanted a paper invitation but she said they didn't have any yet.

An MA told me that there will be a pre-sale for VV and that makes me happy. I don't want much...hell I don't even know exactly what I want...but I like the idea of getting to swatch things without needing to rush to the store day of.

Question for any MAC MAs, is it like rude of me to invite myself to the VV event? Like to ask about it before I'm invited by an MA? I just dropped about $180 at the counter for FF and over $200 for TTB and those are just the most recent purchases. i think I'm a pretty loyal customer....

I want to go to the event!!!!!!!

Thoughts on the MES duos? I have Later pigment and Young Punk mes (glitter in this mes is a lil harsh on my eyes) which are both black base with purple. Do I really need the pink/purple duo from this coll? I dont have anything like blue/green one though! To be honest I dont even use them that often. I finally used my Later for the first time yesterday! And a big reason I wanted them is because I heard they were more frosty than glittery but Erine said it was the same formula as the style black mes. So I'm confused. And I try and stray away from harsh gliiter cause of my allergies. Help

And after seeing the TT coll pics I'm trying to cut back on my VV list

Oh so fair BP. So I have hang loose min blush and was told if I want OSF BP for blush I should pass. To be honest I dont know how beauty powder works. Do you use it all over your face? I was hoping its for an all over glow (but not frost city like MSF's). If so imma get it

I would just call your local MAC and ask to be put on the list. When I was at my MAC today waiting someone called and asked about it the MA put her on the list then asked if I wanted to go gave me an invite and told me if I could come to call and have my name put on the list before the 19th. Then when I got home there was an invite in my mailbox lol. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO LATE IN THE EVENING

Where are you? If you have a MAC counter nearby and they are having an unveiling party, you can invite yourself to go.

It will be on August 21st and you have to RSVP by September 19th. Or, if you don't feel like it, ask someone else to do it for you. hehe

You can totally invite yourself.

I did it twice (for To The Beach and Venomous Villains). In the end I got an invitation for VV from a MA, but I had signed up a day before, with no invitation.

I have young punk and I am getting the blue/green one. One glittery purple shadow is enough for me. Glitter often bothers my eyes too but when used wet it's so gorgeous and has no fall out into my eyes.

I can't wait to wear she who dares wet with dark deed on lips.

I searched reviews on the prescriptives magic powder and it has lots of good reviews. I am more excited about trying it out now, however one person said it will turn into a regural powder with no cooling effect after 8 months.

I still have my PX cooling powder and bronzing powder (similar to Cajun) -- they are both over 3 years old and still cooling

-- my Truth& Light/ Cajun Samples are also both over a year old and still have the cooling effect. Maybe the person stored them out in the sun and they got baked?

That's good to hear! Do you like it alot? Does it make the face look glowy or is it more like a normal powder with a cooling effect. Would you be able to use it for oil-control or is it just for high-lighting?

I just got Fabulous Felines two days ago and love that collection!

I am glad I still have four weeks until VV.
